Iam done do to health

Well for those of you familar with me complaining about chest pains and not feeling good in general, I decided to start weaning off the phend I spoke to dr. he agreed, then my chest pains and pain under the ribs got worse, ultrasound comfirmed I have gallstones need to get the gallbladder out asap. I will be seeing the surgeon in the next few days to set it up. seems that the rapid weight loss might have done it. I have been real sick but heres the crazy thing I have gained 4 pounds. Hope its just the swelling in my belly causing it (gas) I need to be off phend for two weeks before surgery, hope I can wait that long . anybody else go thru this?? Kym

It seems quite a number of people on phen complain about gallbladder issues, me included. In my case it iwasn't because of rapid weight loss.....I just think phen speeds up all the functions in our body and that includes acid production and bile production. It is not uncommon ot have gastric issues while on phen. Good luck with your surgery.

Hi, I just took my first pill this morning, so I am not sure what it will make me feel like etc....I know the pain of a bad gall bladder and stones....uggg! I hope you get relief soon. I had my gall bladder taken out the old fashioned way...5 days in hospital....with Phen and people complaining of gastric issues...where will mine go?? Hope this makes some sense...lol

hmm wow..the woman who told me about phen at my old job got real sick and had to get her gallbladder removed too..i never linked it with phen until now..She lost so much weight because her gallbladder made her so sick

Yeah , it ****s now I have to have gallbladder surgery, I dont even see the surgeon untill 10/26 this ****s cos I cant eat hardly nothing, positive note: Iam losing weight . negative side: Iam losing muscle so the weight loss dont look good, I cant go to the gym cause it starts everything hurting. the surgeons office said if it gets to bad go to the E.R they will do emergency surgery. Yea thats freakin comforting huh?

then I can have a huge scar vertically on my stomach like my dad got when his was taken out...Kym

wow kym sorry to hear about ur surgery coming up....but dont worry it will be ok and u will feel alot better....I just has my gallbladdder out 2 months ago and it was no troublee./....and u shouldnt have the big scar across ur stomach cause now they just make 3 little dots.....thats it......they dont do the big cut unless things go wrong and they have to ....but trust me i work in a hospital and i havent seen one person have to be cut open this year its always the little incisions!!!!! so i will be praying for u and i no u will be fine and will feel so much better whn its all over with.......Uwill be sore after the surgery but it will go away soon......hang in there and keep us posted on ur recovery!!!!!! best to you!!!!!!

yeah I really hope u feel better I know my co worker was out of work for a while because she couldnt get the surgery right away either. she said her schedule was out of whack...up all night sick..slept all day.couldnt keep anything down and could only lay on the couch..but this is when she got to her worst point..at first she thought she was pregnant because she mainly got sick in the morning then it kept getting worse. She was right back on her feet after the surgery, I am sure you will be too. Feel better please..keep us updated!

Kym you shouldn't have a vertical scar, not even with emergency surgery. I lost a lot of weight on Herbalife (ephedra) 12 years ago and triggered my gallbladder, I had laproscopic surgery and was out of the hospital in one day. Had 5 tiny scars on my belly. The best thing was the Dr. telling me that I had skinny insides! If I wasn't so sore I would have P'd myself laughing!

I hope you start feeling better soon, it ****s how bad it hurts.

Awwwww!!! thanks guys, my dad had the big scar but they had to do it in an emergency, his gallbladder was stuck (eww) to his other organs and I dont really remember its been a while but it was poisoning him. I know they have come along way since then sometimes I can be such a drama queen, learned that from my 3 daughters.... LOL!!!!! but I had a tummy tuck 2.5 years ago and Iam afraid of it getting messed up cause they are waiting so long. but thanks for the support ...Kym
