OT-But Could Everyone Please Pray! - Phentermine.com

Hello Everyone!

I need your help. I just got the news that my sister-in-law ( one that I am close too )
has just been called in to the University of Maryland Medical Center for a transplant!

We have been waiting for this call for too long now. She has been on kidney dialysis for the past 2 years. We've gotten some close calls but none that said "This is it" get here now!

The great news is she is getting a kidney and a pancreas! She's been dealing with diabetes since a very young child. She is very brittle. She is only 36yrs. old.

She is actually my husbands cousin but has been raised as a sister because her mother (my husbands aunt) died of kidney failure when Karen was only 2 yrs. old.

My sister-in-law has always lived with the fear of this is going to happen to her.

So I am asking everyone to please pray that this works. It would be a miracle.
No more diabetes! I am so happy and scared for her at the same time.

We now just have to sit and pray and wait for the call from her husband .

Thanks everyone for your prayers.

I wanted to give you an update. After a long day of being prepped and ready to go to the OR at any moment the doctor came in around 5PM and said that he was not going to do the transplant. The pancreas, under further investigation appeared to be too fatty and not as healthy as he would like. So no go. This is a mixed blessing.
We want the transplant but only if it is 100%. The outcome if not a match is too much to think about.

She remains on the top of the list. This is going to be a rollercoaster ride until the right and perfect match happens. Things look good on paper then when the organs actually arrive sometimes things change.

We keep praying and appreciate your thoughts and prayers.

I will most definitely keep her in my prayers! My aunt is a really bad diabetic and she has dealt with a lot of similar issues. Please keep us posted!
