Default Positive thinking
I'm a big fan of positive thinking - NOT that it can make you lose weight, however the opposite CAN happen.
If you down yourself, you can get down and out and gain weight.


My question is:

What do you tell yourself time and time again - for your own words of affirmation?
Hi, I'm Roc & I'm on the weight loss rollercoaster as well as a 42 yr. old - mother of 3 year old twins. An entirely different rollercoaster

It doesn't sound very affirming, but it makes me laugh at my silly self. Laughing clears my head and reminds me that everything is possible, it's just not instantaneously possible. It also reminds me to watch the messages that I am allowing to take up precious space in my head.

I am not sure how much positive talk I use... I am of the mind frame ... Just Do it ... no thinking about it if it is something I want I have to do it or it is not going to happen. I do however visualize myself with the body I want.. while I am running and I feel like I may not make it and the negative thoughts start creeping in I always imagine myself running down the beach with the toned body I want... and keep going and everyday I can get through that run and push myself a bit harder I am one day closer to that person...

HONESTLY, my positive thinking comes from these threads. The support and motivation that everyone gives on this site is amazing. If I need to be reminded that "I CAN do this", I simply come to the forum. I don't think I could have stuck with this diet for as long as I have without the support of EVERYONE here!
