i would like to speak with other people that are taking the phendimetrazine. there is alot about the phentermine but not this. anyone else on this? 35 mg twice a day.........help

I just began taking phendimetrazine today (the brown and off-white capsules). I am interested in this as I had been taking phentermine for a wihle, but the effect wore off as I knew it would. Hopefully I will get good results from this new pill...what's everyone's experience been? Can you alternate taking phentermine and phendimetrazine?

Hi Everyone,
I am new here. I have been taking Phendimetrazine for just over a month now. I have had good experiences with it so far and thought I would share. I lost 21 pounds so far in a bit over a month! This is what I was prescibed by my doctor.

Phendimetrazine- 2 times a day (each 35mg)
Didrex-1 a day (water pill)
Trazadone-1 a day, right before I go to bed.(SRI)
Xenical-1 right after my biggest Meal
Multi Vitamin-1...taken after lunch

Ok as you can see I take a total of 6 pills a day.I have alot of energy and feel good. Not jittery, but good.
I have no trouble sleeping a good 7 plus hours every night. The Trazadone is great. I believe it is why I am able to sleep so well at night.
As you can see from my ticker, I have a long way to go. I know I will get there, because at the age of 40 I refuse to live in this body anymore. I have a Wonderful little boy who is 22 months old and I have a personal goal of getting to my target weight before he turns 4. I have tried many diets all my life and feel taking this medication and sensible eating I can and Will accomplish this goal for myself and my son. Not to mention I have a very supportive Wonderful husband who is backing me. I thought I would share and make some friends here as well.
Anyone else taking Xenical?
I have had pretty good luck with it. Yes there is that annoying having to go run to the bathroom right away if I have had to much fat in my meal. I find it has helped me alot in that I eat light or fat free instead now to avoid the bathroom run, lol.
Well I think I have said quite a bit for my first post here.

Thanks for the welcome! Your pictures are great. You look happy and thin. Someday I hope to be there as well. I've been sticking to my regimen all week with no loss. I'm not bummed yet, being that this is the week of my cycle. I expect weight to drop within the next day or so, being that I normally do after my cycle is done. Also I am looking at the big picture, no pun intended, lol. I think everyone must be on Vacation. It seems pretty quiet here, lol.

Hi everyone. I started taking phendimetrazine yesterday and have not bee been to sleep because of it. I think I need to lower the dosage. But from what I here it really does work. I know 5 people that have been on it personally and they have all lost 30-40 lbs within a 3-4 month period. I am going to the Bahahmas August 20 for my anniversary so I am trying to get back to my pre kids body. Can anyone give me some feedback on the lack of sleep though?

Well my week of no loss has ended along with my period! Yeah! I was happy to see I lost another 2 pounds which brings me to 23 pounds in 5 weeks!!! So far I am very Happy with my progress! At this rate I will get to my goal quicker. Well I will keep the hope and good spirits up.

Babyweight, I take Trazadone right before I go to bed, and it knocks me right out so I get a good nights sleep. It was prescribed to me by my doctor at the same time all my other weight loss meds were. Ask your doctor about it. It works.

Hi Girls,
Just a quick HELLO and update. Ok I Lost another 3 pounds since my post a few days ago. So I am at 26 pounds lost now! I was feeling a little depressed yesterday thiking about how much weight I have to go, but this morning stepped on the scale with 2 more lost. So I am feeling better again. I started this program May 5,...so it has been 5 1/2 weeks so far. Good progress. I just hope it doesn't slow down too much. I need to keep losing fairly fast so I can keep up my Momentum. Well gotta go. I will check back soon. Where is everybody???

Today was my first day on Bontril. I am not sure what to expect...I hope it will be an increase in the weight loss. I have been taking Adipex since August of 2004 and have lost 35lbs. The doctor finally decided to give me the Bontril prescription. So we will see how it turns out. The doctor started to give me Bontril a few months back but back out after other patients had claimed it did not work for them. I was completely shocked that he finally switched me over.
I am 36 and currently weigh 320lbs. My weight started creeping up on me as a teen but back then my highest weight was 175lbs. My 5 ft 10 inch height keeps me from looking like I weigh as much as I do. When I got preggers with my first child I gained a whopping 70 lbs. The doctors said it was due to my body thought I was having twins...I had 2 sacks and one was nothing but fluid. So after I had my son I was unable to lose weight like I thought I would. I was still over 260lbs when I got preggers with my daughter 10 yrs later. So with her I gained around 30 or 40 lbs. During that time my weight has not gone down much. Then my husband got sick and my weight bloomed to 355lbs. That is where I was when my husband passed away in 2004. So I went to the doctors and ask for help. The 35lbs weight loss made a nice difference and made me want to lose more. Then when the Adipex stopped working I got discouraged. Others around me were dropping weight like crazy on it and here I was stuck. To start the weight loss again I stopped the pills for 2 or 3 days so many times a month. This caused my body to pick back up and start losing again, but it was short lived. So now I start again with Bontril. Wish me luck and I will keep you posted.

I used Bontril in '92 and had great results with it. I'm on the generic Bontril, I just started on 7/8/05 so I don't yet know how it will work for me. I don't have the moodiness or the insomnia that I had with the phentermine so that is good. I still feel hungry sometimes eventhough I took my pill. I may have to get the brand name next time, I don't know if the generic is any good. I guess I'll let you know after my body gets used to it.

Hi Everyone,
It has been weeks since I have checked in. I am happy to say I am down another 12 pounds since last time I was here. So 38 lbs! Since May 5. Which is about 9 1/2 weeks. Much faster than weight watchers. it took me 8 months to lose 38 when I was going to weight watchers years ago. Now it's taken about 2 1/2 months to lose 38. For all you out there on this med and am wondering. I have along way to go but with these kind of results I feel motivated and very hopeful I will get there!!!

HELP!!!! I am so frustrated....confused.....blah blah blah!!!! I started in April '05 and have lost about 4 pounds. I am taking 105mg at 1'ish & not eating after 2:00 per my DR.'s instructions....What's going on???? I can't get it right!!!

Just a quick hello to say today was my check-up. It has been 3 months today and I am down 43 pounds!!!!!!!!!
I am so happy that this is working for me, and I know I have a long way to go, but at this rate I know I WILL get there!!

This is exactly what I am doing.
I was prescibed by my doctor.

It is what works for me. But you have to remember I have alot to lose. It looks like you only have 40 to lose. I wish I was in your shoes.
What exactly are you doing and have you cut out alot of fat in your diet?
Cutting out alot of fat and the Xenical seem to be the extra support I needed.

Hello everyone,
I started the Phendimetrazine in June 2004 at 175lbs I loved it! It worked sooo good and fast my goal was to be 125lbs.. By January I was at my goal!! I had my last bottle of pills and my doctorgave me the phentermine to try out and I was soooo moody!! So I quit taking them.. Well now I got my phendimetrazine pills today form the doctor so I will be starting again.. I dont need to lose much maybe 8-9lbs.

Wait, what is it suppose to look like? I just went to the website mentioned above, and they are capsules. The ones I ordered are little and round and yellowish with a G on the top half and a 76 on the bottom half. They cost 90.00 and they are 35mg each. HAVE I BEEN SCREWED?

i am wondering the same thing , i got a yellow round pill also, i showed my husband and he said that it looked like speed, i was like omg, hopefully he is wrong, so i think i am going to take it to a pharmacey to have it checked out. the doctor i went to i have seen people loose alot of weght off of this little strange pill , so i decided to go, and mabey its just me , but i walked in and they gave me a tyroid pill , the yellow pill , and a water pill , i find it kinda strange that ,,, well no one did any blood work on me for a tyroid problem ,???? am i supposed to be taking the two together? does anyone know, i just startted yesterday and i am kinda scared , because it all seems so wierd, and also it made me extremly tired, has anyone ever got this? please help!!!!!! lol

I am taking Phendimetrazine - just started about 3 weeks ago. Lost 13 so far. I am seeing a weight loss doctor (MediWeight Loss Centers) because I never can seem to lose my last 30 or so pounds. I am on a 500 calorie low-carb, low-fat diet and taking up to 6 Phendimetrazine's a day and doing Pilates. Working so far for me! I also take a multivitamin given to me by the doctors and get a B12 shot once a week.

wow, allison, how long have you been on this, did the doctor tell you to do it that way? just wondering, I have lost 23 pounds in alittle bit over 1 month, which is good, but lately I feel like its not working like it did in the beginning, so was thing of just taking half a pill (37.5 phentermine) a day for a few days and then going back to awhole pill after....how much weight have you lost??

allison, do you see a doc for your pills? I seem to be hitting a plato, just taking 1 37.5 mg of phentermine, and I've been dabating on taking another half of a pill to give me the boost I need, you look great girl!!! wanna lose 15 more pounds before my sons wedding in 2 months...

Yes I go to a doc every month. I was in the same ordeal. I wasn't losing any weight for a few weeks but after that it started coming off again. I think it just makes sense to take it twice a day. It wears off near dinner time with one and you are starved so it's easy to make bad food choices. You'll eat whatever you get your hands on!
