Shell - beer makes you very dehydrated (as we all know). I would suggest drinking MORE than the recommended 64 oz/day when you know you will be drinking beer. If you are dehydrated - your body will naturally start to retain the water and it definitely shows on the scale. I like to drink water like crazy the whole day before we go out that night. Also, I know you probably aren't hungry and don't want to eat but definitely eat before you go. I go out on the weekends with friends and have experienced a major decrease in my tolerance so just make sure you are concious of how the alcohol is affecting you.
I notice the morning after I've been out drinking - I will have lost like 4 lbs overnight but then within 24 hours it will go up like 5 lbs. haha - but that's just what I've noticed the past few months. Even though we are dieting - it doesn't mean we can't go out and have fun so don't worry about what a few beers is going to do to the scale. Just make sure you add some time to your workout.
