Wanted to let everyone know about this wonderful little Christmas Program that some amazing christian women came up with. We are still looking for a few more huggers. So if you can help please please email us and let us know.

A local program in my area that helps children from low-income families to obtain Coats and Shoes & Winter Clothing for Christmas. And the winter season. I currently have given 4 huggs, this means I have adopted 4 children to buy winter coats clothes,and shoes for. I really did not think twice before I sponsored so many. I honestly never realized that coats and shoes had gotten to be so expensive. Well maybe it is the quantity too. But I will prevail. But I am having a really hard time finding last minute sponsors. Being a hugger (sponsor) is very easy and it can be very inexpensive. There is absolutely no profit involved it is just a community of like minded Christian women who want to do our part in helping. We had several options for huggers in the beginning but we are down to rush ones now. As our pick up date is December 22. Now with mail time with possible huggers from out of town we would ask that your hugging be done online.
We have had some huggers that are extremely generous and when they sign up and get there hugs, they are coming back to us with the package and it contains sweatshirts,sweatpants,jeans,sweaters,socks,etc... And even a few toys. This is very generous on the huggers part and it is in no way expected, any extra item you choose to send will be given to the hug as well. We wrap anything extra and put a label that states it is from Santa Huggs. We hope to be able to help over 150 children this year! We still have 9 children that have not been hugged. We are anxiously awaiting a hugger for them. If you are interested in helping please email the Program Director (Katherine Jackson) at warmhuggs4kids@yahoo.com. And even if you can't be a hugger or a huggers help you can still do alot by praying for the program that we will find sponsors for all of our children on the list, and that we will continue to spread warmth amongst GODS children.
basically the gift of your items are done online and in gift certificate formatt and we will be accepting huggers until the last child is hugged

Just wanted to add that we need huggers for boys and girls. And they range in age from 2-12. Thanks for all your support in advance and for your prayers
