Hi,
I have a friend who is a part of a website forum that is for people who have gastric bypass.

The site has it set up so you can post to anyone in the country kind of like this site. They also have the choice to choose to go to a board for their state. It is such a cool thing. The MN people have really developed close relationships on and off the boards. They have get togethers, and attend support groups together and have become friends.

Would this be something that could maybe be done to this site in the future? I love the people I talk to all over on here, but it would be great to be able to meet people in your state too. (I know you can if someone from you state happens to post here too)

Thanks for your great idea - I will pass it on to the other admin! In the mean time, there is another Forum in the section "Meeting Each Other" called "Phen events" which is ideal for phensters to arrange get togethers etc.

We will look into it,
