Banning??

Just a thought from someone who for the most part has been passively observing......

If someone gets so upset from unfriendly posters that they contemplate suicide, shouldn't they be banned in order to protect them from themself!! By allowing Becky to continue her antics here, it seems you are allowing fuel to be added to the fire. I was shocked that it was mentioned other members here be banned, when they have no obvious psyche problems. This is a forum. Things always get catty with women. It makes life more interesting. But when someone gets so upset they question the worth of living, I believe it's best to get them away from the computer. If you read the posts by the so-called Becky haters, it's real easy to gather that for the most part they are defending themselves or others secondary past or present wrongs.

I, personally, have nothing agains Becky. I could care less about her. But some of the few people I have come to respect on this board seem to have issues with her, and have done nothing to deserve a post on banning. The only person who deserves that is the one who starts the drama and makes threats concerning their life. No one on here should have to deal with that. I don't know what kind of relationship she has with the administrators, but I don't think that should overide the good of this forum and her health. Again just a thought!!!

ya know, after thinking all this through, you might be right. I watched her dive in, again and again, trying to make them look bad and bringing stuff from another board over here, was in my mind, absolutely uncalled for. They weren't hurting anyone (over there, they were venting) and they were not going to hurt themselves. It shouldn't be aloud, to copy posts from one site to another. Actually I think it is illegal anyhow.

Many years ago, I was on a forum for business owners. They never would have tolerated this kind of stuff. Phen dot com has an item to sell...It makes the site look unprofessional when this is aloud to happen.

Most of us talked this out off forumn and one thing that kept coming up is. Is she asking for attention or is she really needing help? She is getting attention, but is she really getting help? I sure hope so.

But the other side to this is, you can't really make someone stay away from the computer. I mean, banning them from one site just meens they will go to another. If she stays here with people that care, maybe she will get the help.
