Default Need a doctor in Northern California area.

Hi, I just spent $250.00 for 30 pills online. I'd really like to see a MD for a prescription instead. Can anybody recommend a doctor willing to prescribe it? I live in Santa Rosa, CA. I would be willing to drive some if need be. Thanks, any help would be hugely appreciated.
    Michelle.

Welcome. I'm in No. Cal also - work in SF but live in San Leandro.

I'm sorry you spent so much $$$ for a product online that might not be the real thing. Regardless of what you find on the "web", real phen cannot be purchased online and is available by script only. :-(

There's a clinic in SF (Union St. near Van Ness Ave) called California Weightloss Clinic. They open from 1 - 6 every Thursday and they have an office in Vallejo which is also opened on Saturdays from 9 am - 1 pm. You don't need an appointment. You should goggle it for more information.

Here it is in a nutshell:

On the first visit, you complete your medical history; you find out your weight and get your BP checked by a "real" doctor who will then discuss diet and exercise with you; he will give you a booklet you can follow which has the calorie/fat content of most foods; they recommend eating 1100 cals a day, have no more than 20g of fat and drink plenty of water; you weigh in once a month; if you can't make the appt they do take payment over the phone and will mail you the pills but you must attend the next appointment AND the best part is after the appoint you leave with a 30 day supply of phen. There is no need to go the pharmacy and have a script filled.

Not sure if they take insurance but the only thing you pay for are the pills: $110 for Phen and $90 for another pill they offer.

The website has plenty of information including a link to send an email if you have any questions. I've sent several emails and the responses were timely, prompt and my questions were answered - and that was before my first appointment.

Before I found CWC, I was going to a dr. in Concord - $50 for a visit that took less than 5 min, taking time off work to drive to Concord, get the script, take it to Walgreens and paying $80+ for the pills. CWC is close enough to my work that I visit on my lunch hour.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

Hey Curvy Girl, Thank you for the info. It takes about 45 min to get to Vallejo from my house. Well worth is to save so much money.
