Hi, I'm looking for a doctor in the Denver area who prescribes Phentermine. Does anyone have someone they are using and likes?

    Default Thanks

Thanks for the info Heather! That post sounded a little shady. I would rather find a doctor who I could go to!

Default I'm in Lakewood, also looking for someone in the Denver area

My doctor is in Arvada, and she nixed the idea. I saw one of the weight clinics (Access? I think) advertise that they prescribe it, but they want $300 for the first visit. I have taken it several years ago and would just like the prescription for a few months to give me a bit of a jumpstart. If anyone knows of anyone in the area who prescribes it, please let me know. My insurance would cover a regular doctor's office visit, but not a weight loss clinic like this Access, I do not think.

    Thanks.

I'm also in the Denver area (Thornton). Access is just way too expensive for me. I have an appointment in a couple weeks and hopefully I'll get a prescription for phen. If I do, I'll let everyone know. Has anyone had any success with a GP or PCP to prescribe phen?

    Default Dr. in Denver

    Hi all!

Just wanted to let you know that Dr. Julia Kavanagh in Denver at University Hospital prescribes Meridia. She won't prescribe phen but has referred me to an Endocrinologist at University. I have an appt. with her and I'll let you know if she gives me a script for it.

Sorry I've been MIA. I've been on vacation! Anyway, no I didn't get to go to the Dr. the Kavanaugh referred me to. Since she was referring me for weight loss, my insurance wouldn't cover it and I couldn't pay $200 a visit. She was hoping to refer me for cholesterol or bp issues, but no such luck. I'm perfectly healthy, just chunky! LoL. Hope you find one. I think that Dr. Carstensen in Aurora prescribes, but alas, he too would not take my insurance even for just a general visit. So, happy trails and good luck!

Default Looking for MD in Denver.

I live in the Springs and have an MD in Pueblo if you can't find anything in Denver. Also, someone gave me names of 2 MD's in the Springs but I haven't tried them yet so I'm not 100% for sure!

    Default hello

Hello, I found a new Medical Weight Loss company coming to Denver on Craigslist. The name I believe is Cherry Creek Medical Weight Loss. The guy emailed me the other day. They are going to have no enrollment fee's and a monthly fee of $54.95. They also have all the other shots like lipotropic and B12. He said the grand opening is in early March 2010 and he would keep me updated.
