New York City area doctor

Anyone know of a doctor in NYC area that prescribes Phentermine? If so, how much do they charge?
I have lost about 20 lbs and have 30 more to go to get to a healthy weight, but I am stalling and need a kickstart.

I went to the Medical Weight Loss Center in Commack,LI, he mentioned to me that he has an office in NYC, not sure where. But you can call his office in Long Island to get #. The # is 631-462-6161. He charges $75 for visit and one month supply of Phentermine, you can also get up to 3 month supply at that visit and it is discounted.

i just found this and called the one in SI for me and asked a load of questions. they sound good $29 for initial visit and they prescribe the phen not just give it out so its cheap for me because my insurance covers it

I go to http://www.centerformedicalweightloss.com/ they have several offices in New York. Also try Google Dr. Michael Anchors he has alot of doctors who are associated with him. They do a phen - pro combination. I get my phen at walmart with the freedrugcard.us and pay only 12.95 per month for 30 tablets of qualitest brand 37.5 Good luck!!

I just made an appointment with teh Center for Medical Weight Loss Center so we will see! I really want the b12 shots too though. I am going to ask if they perscribe them as well. I will let you all know!

I go to Dr Gazit.. he has offices in Queens and Manhattan.. His website is www.weightmd.com.. He charges $70 for the visit and 2 weeks of medication. I dont remember what the cost of the 1st visit is

Hey! I took your advice and called. I'm scared though. I am 5'5" and 165. They said if I weight less than 162 that I wont qualify for the program. I dont know how much I weigh this week (my scale needs batteries lol) and I know I lost a few pounds. Did they tell you this?

Well I went to my consult at the Center for Medical Weight Loss and they tried to get me on their program which I didn't want. THe Phentermine and B12 shots are their 3rd option. They are slightly more expensive than Dr. Oksana (I think that is her name) I am going to call the one in Queens and see what they say! I have 3 weddings this year and I can't be this huge!

I contacted Dr. Oksana Aron in Brooklyn - she is $90 for the initial consultation and if you don't have insurance it is $80 for the lab work. and 2 wks worth of pills. Then its $75 every 2 wks for pills and b-12 shots! :-) I have a friend who goes there and she is happy! That combined with a 800-1000 calorie diet and I will be at my goal before you know it! I will let you all know how it goes after my appointment Tuesday!

Hi People!

I'm in NYC as well. I am REALLLLLLY considering going to Dr. Oksana Oran. I wanted to ask if you are able to get phentermine there..because I really am not trying to pay all that money for JUST a little calorie plan. I know how to eat well and I know how to count calories..my problem is my appetite..no matter WHAT I try..it's just OUT of control and depressing me terribly.

So can I ask how much I should expect to pay per month? It looks like it costs $90 plus $80 for tests/medications...a total of $170 the first time and then $75 for every two weeks there after??? So I'm thinking I should expect to pay $150 a month then...correct? Thanks!

Hey guys,

Just wanted to update this post with another name. I found this guy through a woman I met in Vitmain ****** who had lost like 18lbs and gave me his card. His name is Dr. George Tsavaris and he's on the Upper East Side on 106th St. between 2nd and 3rd Ave's. The initial consultation was just getting weighed, your blood pressure taken, a b12 shot and a 30min or so presentation on healthy eating; that cost $60 which included (1) week of medication. If you've taken Phentermine in the past the doctor gives you Phentermine again, yet if this is your first time you get Phendimetrazine in a small dose, since this is my first time I'm starting off with 35mg. Going forward it's $20/wk of medication and he said you can call the day before you come so your medication is ready and all you have to do is weigh in. I hope this works out since this seems the most affordable person in the NYC area, although it ****s having to travel from Westchester--he was able to give me 2 weeks worth so I didn't have to come back as often. Once I find out the best dosage, I (hopefully) will have to go in less. Sorry for the long post, just thought I'd put this information out there for anyone that is in my position. Thank god I found this guy, I was getting so desperate I was going to take a train out to Commack to another place I found listed on the Internet.
