DFW area HELP!!

Omg, I can't for the life of me find a Dr. who will prescribe this due to liability issues. I am a firm believer that obesity causes more health problems than any diet pill in the world, especially phentermine! I've had nothing but success in the past and now that I've had my children, 4 years later, I go to try it again and cannot find a single Dr. who will give it to me. I am in perfect health, other than being 50 pounds overweight. Help Please. Any where in the North Dallas area is Great!

I am new to the Dallas area and was in search for the same thing. I surf the web and came up with the following:
Neighborhood Medical Clinic (Center) at Preston and Beltline 972-726-6464

I called and they require bloodwork. Either from your Dr. or they can do it. There are two types of blood test each $45 and the office visit $79.

I go to a Dr in Carrollton. It is 120 for initial visit, 100 after that. The script is 20 bucks at sams. Let me know if you want the name.....pm me for info......

I see Dr. Puempel in Dallas. The name of the practice is Physician's weight control and Wellness Center. It's like $150 initial visit (bloodwork, etc) then $80 per month. The prescription varies in price from pharmacy, but I usually pay around $30 for it.
I've lost 15lbs in 2wks on the stuff. It's fantastic!!!!!

I just started going to a doctor in Dallas, he is a family practitioner so I did change to him as my primary care physician, but with my health insurance all I had to pay was a 20.00 copay for the doctors visit, he prescribes the 37.5mg phen & it says on the website that the doctors there specialize in weight control, his name is Dr. Paul Worrell & you can check out the website www.dallasfamilymedicine.com I have been told by other people that he finds a medical reason for you too need to the phen so that the visit is covered by your health insurance. He will do an EKG, but no bloodwork.
