i want to take didrex too now....but I know my doctor won't prescribe it so I'm going to have to do this the old fashioned way..diet and exercise......stuff that I'm already doing but I guess I'm doing it wrong..... Sometimes I think that there is something hormonally wrong with me since it is so hard for me to lose....doctor says my thyroid is normal...so I'm not sure what the deal is but I"m getting tired y'all. July will be one year since I tried getting back to my regular size....I lost a bit and I'm happy for htat, but dang..it shouldn't take a year to lose ten lbs!!

Going to a meeting for work this morning and I just can't get psyched about putting on my "career clothes". The colon cleanse is making my stomach hurt but nothing is happening.....Getting tired of that too.......

Just tired.........

I look at Oprah..she has all that money and can afford any trainer, any chef, any spa vacation and her butt is huge.....now i'm not saying she isn't an attractive woman (although without her makeup and her hair done she can pass for the ghetto bag lady).....but it makes me think if someone with all that at her disposal can't reach a goal, then what makes me think that I can?

Alot of things have been rolling around in my head.

I may enter a ten week INTENSE program..it involves hard core exercise and nutrition. I just have to have my doctor okay it. I will be getting up at 5:00am every day for ten weeks to get there by 6:15am.....there is no other way I can fit this kind of thing into my schedule due to my children and work. In order to do this though I need to really be dedicated otherwise it is another 325 dollars down the crapper......when i think back to all the money i've spent on phen, trainer, colonix, supplements, etc, that money seems insignifcant.

well anyway thanks for letting me sit here and gab. I need to get my little one on the bus and then I turn into the research guru that I am.

Good morning ladies - hope everyone is doing well today - we are in the home stretch of this challenge and I can't believe it went so fast.

Scat - I was lmao when reading your post - you are so right about Oprah I have thought similar things many times especially the no make-up thing gawd! You are so close to your goal weight and you've come so far don't throw in the towel. I'm not saying this is the case with you but with me a lot of times if I completely obsess on the weight nothing happens it's when I relax and just eat right and exercise things start to happen. Maybe you are where you are suppose to be right now. Maybe stressing on those last few pounds is working against you? Just a thought from a fat chick who would give her left boob to weigh 137 lol. Hang in there it will happen

ready, thanks for your response, but please...don't give away your boob! LOL....

This weight really isn't it for me, I feel better and look better at a lower weight, and you are right, I am almost there but it is so frustrating getting there, I think being so close is waht makes it all the more frustrating!! My focus now is going to be more on my workouts because no matter what the scale says I will look and feel better with some muscle on me..toning up is really my focus at this point.

Thanks again and I am not giving up ..but I have to admit that this is getting really "old"........I am going to try and relax more and not obsess...

4Mami - I am sorry to hear your baby is sick - what a bummer - I pray she will be fine, soon - sore throats are horrible for kids - it seems they get afraid to eat or drink because of the pain - she will get hungry, soon, if she hasn't already and she may try to eat something soft.

today I had:

fiber one bar
2 hard boiled eggs

cucumber
turkey stuffed portobello with melted fontina cheese and sauteed onions (new recipe i tried today)

alot of coffee
i'm having my cleanse tea tonight

looks like i'll be finishing off the challenge with a gain.....this challenge really was a wash up for me...something happened to me in April and I just couldn't get it together. I"m sure it was the anxiety over my business, starting a new job, etc. That certainly didn't help.

I don't feel like i'm a good person to lead the next challenge but i'm hoping someone else steps up to the plate.....i need to redeem myself.

Hoping I lost a few in my sleep tonight this way I can give y'all a good final number to finish up this challenge...

Snack-little rice cakes way tooooooo many i lost track because i was chatting bad bad bad........I forgot my phen today thats why......1,000,0000 calories
D-dinner got ruined i had to stop what i was cooking..it was too much for 2 people the boys dad came to get them to go fishing.So I ate mac-n-cheese..Vry bad also.
Nothing after 7:30 but my tea for the cleanse. Drank tons of water and i have been getting more sleep.
I will not have lost this week,i'm sure.. to many of course days both with exercise and diet.Tomorrow is another day.

hi guys, i am sure that you are not surprised that i have been mia the last few days!! i am with everyone on the -don't quit us scat!!! we so luv u and your input is always awesome! and is that you butt that i see??? that butt is F I N E!! and i am jealous!

i was touched with all the well wishes for mom's day...and as i was in the middle of a work stretch it wasn't so bad. it is worse thinking for me that my son's first year anniversaryd of his death (then bday the day after) is now less than a month away...so i guess i really need to get planning!!! my bf bought me flowers and made me some nummy turkey meatloaf that i love...and the kids picked out some gifts with my bf and it was cute. it was hard looking at the card from the kids without my Brock's name on it...i thought maybe my bf would right it in or something, but maybe he thought it would upset me more. so all in all, it was busy and therefore left me less time to stress about it. but i am hardly sleeping lately, so i am thinking that the upcoming month is weighing more heavily on my mind than i am letting on.

wt wise, well, i am about the same...no loss in like 3 weeks, so i will not meet goal, but i am back on track! this is mostly due to the fact that my ex sil that we are staying with right now has started a diet program and is putting her stuff into fit day each day. i am so proud of her...she got on my scale the other day and was in shock...her wt was 20 pounds more than she thought that it was. so she is really really wanting to lose now, and we have made some goals and some rewards (like the one meets goal or loses most wt percentage by the end of the day gets to pay for the facials!). so i am excited, and she isn't bringing home dairy queen anymore. so i have seen my wt go down slightly this week, but i still won't make goal.

but i am excited for the next challenge! and i have been getting in my exercise and i have not been eating within 3 hours of bedtime. who is the next leader anyway???

Hey Gang.

Thanks for all the support. I am ready for a new challenge. Who is going to lead me? It seems like every time I get motivated something happens. Oh, that's called life. Hmmmm!

It's been rainy here. My house is a mess with the painting. I need to be motivated today. I am running errands this morning. One of my GF's going with me. I am going to wait to take my phen until later. It didn't seem to work at all yesterday.

well somebody has to lead! C'mon....I would do it but I'm such a bad leader.....

LZ it is cloudy and going to rain here for the next three days....I hate that....it really effects my mood but i know that spsring showers bring those flowers so it is okay..........................

I had some major cramping and cleanse stuff going on this morning, I"m finally DOWN a few lbs..I think that the cleanse is doing its job.

I'm going to the store now to buy some healthy food and maybe a treat for me since I lost a few.

I guess this is it, huh? The last of our challenge? Maybe we shouold all move over to May Shake down after tomorrow........

It will be a 7 week journey beginning on Monday 5/19 - last week being 7/7

Good afternoon phen family!! Buz-ay day at work today but it made the day go by fast, so that's good, ready to go home!!! My eating yesterday was so-so, and I know that I won't make my challenge goal either, but will give it everything I've got to lose as much weight as I can before my June 30th anniversay with hubby!! Instead of a Boston Market dinner, hubby and I ended up at Papa John's pizza, good grief!! So, so much for eating a healthy dinner, ate some pizza, but not as much as I normally would have, so I feel good about that!!

DULA: Hey gurl!!! Thanks for stepping up, it would be great if you became our next leader!!! That one post you wrote was so awesome and inspiring, and that's just what I needed to hear, so I say yes, and I'm ready to sign up!!!

4mami: Hey gurl!!!! I bought the Super Cleanse at GNC yesterday at lunch, and yep, it sure works!!! Took one last night, then another one this morning, and things are moving "like clockwork"!!! But not like a laxative would make you go; thanks so much for sharing that info with us!!! And I also plan to ask my doctor about the didrex; is it still working good for you?

Momto8: Hey gurl!!! I can't believe your "before" picture - you look like two different people!!! So proud of you, you look fantastic, and I'm sure hubby can't keep his hands off you!!!

LZ: Hey gurl!!! Think I missed something in your post, something to do with giving you support, I'll go back and read -- glad we were able to team up together on that chart, so grateful to you for helping me with that!!

Scat: Ok gurl!!!! I won't make my goal in this challenge either, but a lot has changed in me, my eating, my working out (Resmoo, Meghan, where are youuuu?) drinking my water, all that, so let's continue on and do this thang!!!!

I'm gonna put my pictures in for developing tomorrow, and will have a before and after pic to show you all either this weekend or the beginning of next week!! Too many folks around here at my office are talking about my weight loss, so here goes!!
