I went to the new chiro yesterday and he is doing a trial of 3 adjustments on me to see how it goes. This chiro is much easier to afford because I can pay as I go which is $29 a visit. I go back tomorrow. I have been in quite a bit of pain today. I felt pretty good most of the day yesterday. I cant wait until tomorrow to get more relief. Im really upset about not being able to exercise. Im not losing (not gaining either which is good.) so Im stuck and this weight and I hate it.

I was in such a rush all day today. We had spring pics and its not an easy job to get individual pics, group pics and graduation pics done on 3,4, and 5 yr olds! I brought a yogurt with me to work thinking that I could sit down and eat it really quick before the pics but I didnt even get a chance to go to the bathroom until after lunch!

B- None
L- one soft taco, corn, strawberries
S- dunked a few graham crackers in milk
D- grilled chicken club toaster yummm

4/18/08- Met my first Mini Goal!! Weighed in at 274.5.
5/21/08- Met second Mini Goal! Weighed in at 259.5.

i got both of my goals done today ! i ended up walking 4 miles instead of three . and i got my roses planted .. lets see if i can keep them alive ..lol.. i do not have a green thumb. i have 24 more pills left in this bottle ,and i think i will try something diff. next time i go to the weight loss clinic .. maybe it will keep me from hitting a wall. i just know that i am so tired of being the fat mom. and i want to be around when my kids get married and all that good stuff ... let me know if you guys find out anything about the didrex . i am thinking of trying it . todays eating ....

B ~ WEIGHT CONTROL OATMEAL .. 160cal
s~ slim fast bar 120cal
L~ roast beef sand , on wheat w/ lettuce, and tom... 300 cal
S~ south beach bar 140 cal
D~ grilled chicken salad , with fat free ranch .. 150 cal .. no cheese ...

water 80 oz ...

Jamie E . you are still doing a great job , maybe this chiro will help , can you take walks ? not power walks just stroll , its better than nothing .. we do not want you over doing it , you need to fix your back fist ..

Scat .. so how are the dizzy spells? i have those with my phen if i over do it , and forget to eat. whats bad is if you stand up to fast and see those little lights , and have to hold on to something , that has only happened a few times for me , but i drink some juice , or eat some fruit and it goes away , i know it sounds kinda like my sugar , but i have had all of that tested so i am guessing its the phen ... anywhooo , hope the adipex is working , and i know you can do it .. even when you get off the pills .. good luck girlie ..

ok girls tomorrow i am going to walk three miles , and plant some more flowers .. have to get up early have a lady coming over about a cake so off to bed for me ....sweet dreams ..Ang

hi everyone got 3 miles of walking in. The walking trail is great had tons of people out there, hubby went with my today and commited to go at least 3x a week and our company that left is sending him the marine corp exercise regiments, wich is basically walking a lap then do crunches, push ups etc, then walk another lap. Not sure if i can handle all that but we will see.

i had 2 waffles with lite syrup for breakfast
s slice of cantaloupe
lunch left over spanish rice and beans about 1/2 cup, and backed chicken
d- 1/2 philly steak and cheese subway sub and sunchips

not bad but could have been better

I probably could walk but the only problem is by the time I get off work at 5:30 (after chasing kids all day) and get home at 6 my back hurts so bad I just want to lay down on the bed with an ice pack. I cant even get through riding my bike a full mile without stopping.

Jamie, I felt the way that you did when I hurt my shoulder.....I couldn't work out and I was so afraid that I was going to gain weight...but the important thing is that you do what you have to do to feel better. My chiro is great, I swear it makes such a big difference when I go to him and he saved me from having to get another cortisone shot in my rotator cuff..I hope you feel better soon. Sinc eyou can't exercise try and focus on what you are eating, you know what I mean? And try and do stretching or something to keep your muscles flexible.....this way when you do start working out again it wont' be like starting from day one......

Good morning phen family!!! Another day, another opportunity to get water down, eat right, and get that walking in!!! I was pretty good in my eating department yesterday:
B: Fiber One bar
S: individual cottage cheese
L: 1/2 Subway sub on wheat (turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions and green peppers)
S: 1/2 cookie from client meeting leftovers (bad!)
D: 4 jumbo wingettes, peas, 2 small spoonfuls of Bush's baked beans
S: handful of peanuts, 4 Twizzlers

I plan to take my phen later today, like around lunchtime -- my eating is getting out of control in the evening hours, but during the day, I seem to do okay. The good thing for me is that I've never had the problem of not being able to sleep like others on phen, so I'll take it between breakfast and lunchtime. I'm going to the gym today at lunch for my walking, and also want to do a little biking later on this evening. Got on the scales this morning, and didn't like what I saw; geez, this is so hard to do -- anybody who thinks that phen does all the work, and we just sit back and relax and watch the pounds disappear is crazy!!!! It's not only hard work, but it's commitment, fighting cravings, all of that -- Lord, give me strength ...

Hey JamieE gurl!!!! I agree with Scat totally; we definitely don't want you to overdo it with your back, and end up making matters worse - the exercising is not worth that, not at all. Just concentrate on your eating, which you are doing great at, getting your water down, and stretches, so it won't seem like day one when you are better and can resume your regular exercising schedule. And I'm thinking that the stretches will probably feel good on your back too, a benefit for you!!

4mami: Hey gurl!!! Good for you on getting your walking miles in, proud of you too!!! Sounds like you're getting right back on track, and you will see the rewards on the scale -- keep up the great work!!

Sheansethsmom: Hey gurl!!!! Kudos to you for walking to burn those calories up, and also planting roses - I pray you get plenty of blooms on them for all your effort!!!! And I can relate 100% to you wanting to be around to see your kids married (and grandkids too!), all that, it's so important; proud of you!!!

Scat: Hey gurl!!! Hope the Adipex is still working great for you today -- I think when I go back for my one-month checkup, I plan to ask my doctor about it too, see what she says about possibly switching me --

I'm pushing my water in preparation for my "gym" appointment on the treadmill today at lunch -- it's Wednesday already; Friday's weigh-in is coming up way too soon, so let's - get - busy!!! Have a great day everyone!!!

hi everyone jumped on the scale today and im 2lbs down from my bomb weigh in last thursday

The Truth About Carbs
To eat or not to eat? With carbs, well, that is the question. Figuring out the role carbohydrates play in a healthy diet is confusing these days. All carbs aren't created equal — some are good and some are bad. Let's take a closer look at "bad carbs" and why they got that rap.
"Bad" carbs are the ones that get broken down in the body very quickly, triggering insulin release and promoting fat storage. If a food is high in bad carbs, it ranks high on the glycemic load index (GLI), scoring 15 or higher. Bad, or simple, carbs often come in the form of refined sugars and processed grains. scat how is apidex going for you?

Jamie take it easy lady

CD my dr suggested taking 15mg of phen in the evening but since i really dont want to pay for another bottle i tried taking it as late as 12 or 1 pm, works great!

Also just being off phen for the 4 days my company was here made it feel like it was stronger when i took it again.

if that dosent work the nurse said to drink something with caffine. I know some people feel like caffine weaken the effects but phen is caffine anyways(from what hte nurse said) and i never had a problem with caffine and phen.

I feel you, i look at my stats and see its been an up and down struggle but hang in there even though my weight as gone up and down my inches are still down. So its worth it.

Hello everyone !! I hope everyone is smiling and happy, today. If not, think of others who are less fortunate and be grateful you are where you are. It can be tough - we all can attest to that - but, we have to dust ourselves off and continue the journey. We have to take the good with the bad - always seeking out the best in every situation. I am a firm believer - THE RACE IS NOT GIVEN TO THE SWIFT, BUT THOSE WHO ENDURE 'TIL THE END. We are doing this !! Some may take longer than others, but we will all make it to the end, if we do NOT give up. We have challenges to show us what we've got !! WHAT HAVE WE NOTICED ABOUT OURSELVES THAT WE DIDN'T KNOW PRIOR TO THE WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY? I, for one, know that I can resist certain foods, that I used to succumb to, as if I were being controlled. cd if you want to take something to get htings moving try gnc nature secret super cleanse.
It should be in the colon cleanse section. Its a pill and the day i used it i had results. No loose stuff or cramps either. I Feel like im really getting a cleanse instead of just a laxative effect it also has 13 herbs and fiber. It also was only $14.00

hey y'all...Day two of adipex...i don't think it is working as well as yesterday. I felt hungry today. maybe I need to take a full pill instead of cutting them in half, or taking it later in the day like CD.....weight is down a bit...so I'm glad about that....losing some of that bloat....

I thik staying off the puter at night is going to help me stop the munchies..

OH and my Dr Natura cleanse should come today..I can't wait to start it..

Good evening phen family!!! Well, I took my phen around lunchtime, then ate a late lunch; I think it worked better, but the real test will be tonight! But I'm not feeling wired or anything like that, so I'll do my bike tonight, and I should be fine with the sleeping - my menu today:
B: Atkins Advantage Protein drink
S: 100-cal pack
L: Lean Cuisine multi-wheat meal w/turkey, cheese and brocolli
