Talking "Cruise Into March" CHALLENGE (For peeps that need to lose 100+lbs)
Okay, so people were asking about starting a new challenge for those of us that have a loooong way to go! So I thought I'd go ahead and start a thread. Since tomorrow is Wednesday let's start fresh and make that our weigh in day. So every Wednesday lets post our current weight and what kind of exercise we've been doing. I think we all have the water thing down, so we probably don't need to worry about posting ounces that we drink. We can post a challenge for each week which we can all complete on our own and then report back! Ya'll start thinking of new challenges for each week, or if you want to throw in a special challenge for a certain day - GO FOR IT!

CHALLENGE #1

Do something different 3 times this week - something that you've never done before (or haven't done since starting Phen) - whether it's a different workout video or activity... just do it and tell us about it!

Hey ya'll, I weighed in today and I was down 5 pounds overall, and looking at my print out from the "super-dooper-high-tech scale" I actually lost 8.2 lbs of FAT and gained 3.4 lbs of MUSCLE! I was nervous going in because we ate out A LOT this weekend, nothing horrible just more calories than I usually eat.

I'm starting this challenge at 263 pounds. I sort of feel like I should set a goal for the month of March, so I think I'll shoot to lose 20 more pounds by the end of March. I would sure love to see the 240's! Now I need to find a workout DVD that I haven't done before so I can meet my challenge for today!

Someone needs to join me at this!! Adele? Baxter? Com' on ladies!!

Okay, so I only lost a pound this week and I'm pretty bummed. I know I sneaked too many chicken nuggets... they're my weakness!! But because I have 2 toddlers it seems like nuggets are around ALL THE F-ING TIME. According to my doc's super-snazzy scale, I lost 3 pounds of fat and gained 2 pounds of water weight... that's why only one pound showed. Anyway, I need to go find a workout video that I haven't done in a long time so I can meet the challenge.

Just wanted to check in and let you know that I am participating but, I only started on Monday March 3 so I'll do my first weigh in next Wednesday !! So far things have been going good.. I don't feel like I am doing the best that I can do (because I feel like I should be working out every extra minute I have) but tonight I am going to kick it in gear!! I've got to go because I am at work but I will check in with you later!!

Cool WEEKENDS?!?!
Okay ladies!!

This past weekend was my first weekend on Phen!! And I was just wondering how you ladies do it?!? I cheated so bad!! I mean I still ate alot of fruit and sunday I drank 100oz of water but, Friday nite I had pizza and a glass of soda (i know, terrible!!) and Saturday (for my dad's birthday) we went to a Mexican restaurant and I had a beef taco and a half glass of soda!! Sunday (Started my period) and I ate a hot dog (no bread) and tostitos!!

Now I do believe that weekends should be kind of a little break and you should enjoy your weekend but I don't want to ruin all the work I did ALL week!! Whats your advice?!

Aww crud. It didn't exactly pop up for me either. Just like libby0920.

graphicMOM that is an excellent idea!!!!! I'm just sorry that I didn't see it
before now because I'm gonna be a week late on the posting of my weight.
So, hey, I am here!

I am not very good at any of this and I can't figure out how to make some kind of a chart that
we could all use to keep track of the weight that we lose every week.....or don't lose...or even gain.(ACK!) Hey it does happen. (

But Hey! I have a challenge too. Along with posting our weight every Wednesday.....

How about everybody does 20 to 25 'push-ups' .....while standing at the kitchen counter.
It's not too bad to do. haha I'm talkin' about standing a bit of a wayz back from the
counter and doing push ups or push backs, whatever you want to call it.
You can tell when you are doing them right when you can really feel them.
And you all will know what I mean when you start doing them.
So, howz about doing 20 to 25 every day for a week?
Starting today (Sun.) or starting Mon. if it would be better for you.

But if anyone out there can figure out how to make some kind of charts for all of us 100+ losers
to do with weight and maybe one for challenges...that would be......awesome.

I have tried for the last 2 hrs.or so and I cannot figure it out.....haha But I know that there
has got to be one of us out there that can kinda figure it out.
Or get ahold of me and we can hopefully figure it out together.

Like graphicMOM is getting us together to post our weight and to share an excercise that we do. It would be really neat if we could have it all charted out so we can see the progress or the times that we all at one time or another have a 'flat' spot. argh!

So!!!!!!!!!!! C'mon girls!!!!!! We CAN DO THIS AND ALL THE HELP WE CAN GET........THE BETTER!
And we have each other to help us too!!!!!

Hi all

If this challenge is still active, I'll participate. I like the fact that I'll have a weekly goal to be accountable for and share. I only see my Dr. once a month so this would be cool.

How do you guys find the threads you post on? I can't seem to find mine..lol I am sure it's very easy but for some reason, my brain is not functioning on "easy" lately.

OK, I'll weigh in tomorrow and post.

Watching the Biggest Loser. It's AMAZING what the girl who's lost the 80something lbs looks like now. Sigh....I can't wait to get rid of all of my weight!

Oh, my gosh!!! PEOPLE!!! I had totally given up on this thread because no one joined, but I just noticed that there were new posts... YAY!!

And, yes!! Ali does look AMAZING!! I think she's lost 85 pounds? They said that's the most any female has lost at the campus/ranch in BL history!
