Okay, for those of you who are new and don't know me, I am KittyPie. I am a long time phen user. I've been on and off of it since May 2006. I started at 215 lbs back then and have been trying to get to 150 ever since. I am a food addict. I love eating, I love the taste, I love the sensation, I love it all. Eating healthy is not fun for me and I fall off the wagon ALOT! Exercising is my main focus because it gives me room to eat the foods I love. My lowest weight was 175 back in September and I guess the holidays and the stress of being stuck at a plateau got the best of me and I gave up for awhile. I am 32 years old and a stay at home mom of two. My son is 8 years old and stresses me out big time. My daughter is almost 4 years old and stresses me out occasionally! LOL I also sell Avon on the side.

I'm ready to get back on the wagon now and get these last 30 lbs off of me for good!!

LZ: Here are the first two weeks of the plan I was talking about....

Monday: Cardio + Buns & Thighs
Tuesday: Back & Core
Wednesday: Cardio + Shoulders
Thursday: Core & Chest
Friday: Cardio + Arms
Saturday: Cardio + Hips & Thighs
Sunday: OFF

Weeks 3 & 4 add exercises to Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The Focus Complex is a supplement I got at Vitamin World that improves concentration and occasional forgettfulness. Remember when I was saying I couldn't remember stuff. It has lots of vitamins in it, B6, B12, L-Carnatine, etc. It was only $12. You can look it up at Vitamin World dot com to read about it. Did you look up the FlorEssence tea on floressencetea dot com? It's really amazing the benefits of this tea!

Trauma: Thanks for the welcome back, I missed you too! Yeah, I'm not ready to start taking hormones for the rest of my life, so I'm trying to get my thyroid in line with natural stuff.

Krissy: I am the same way with sweets. I try to only eat 1 but it tastes so good I can't resist eating more!

Gotta go for now. It's a snow day and kids are home. It's a frozen wonderland out there, nothing but ice everywhere and the power keeps flickering. I hope it doesn't go out!!

Hey this mama cat just wanted to know what kind of work out tape you do? Sounds like the one I need. I really have a big stomach behind 3 kids. I hate that stomach and want to get rid of it for GOOD>

Question We Got Snow Too!
Good morning. Yes, it's true. We got about 4-5 inches of snow. It was pretty, school was delayed and it should be melted by noon. This will probably be the extent of our "real" winter weather for the year.

Mama Cat, that was going to be my next question for Kitty. Are you doing a specific set of tapes/DVD's?

I haven't checked out the tea yet, but will here in a bit.

I ended up flunking eating last night. Daughter got off early and brought me a blizzard. I was having a munchie attack already. I will get this under control! I have really been craving peanut butter too.

However, I started my exercise off this morning with 50 minutes of step aerobics. I did the workout twice and that will be session #1 for the day. Total for the week 90 minutes so far.

Hubby is home today and our primary objective is to veg. Therefore, I am going to taKe a nap instead of phen. I plan on hitting four out of four of my objectives today instead of just two/four. I have already consumed 32 ounces of water too.

Gee Krissy and Kitty, that sweet tooth has been attacking me lately too. OK, one day at a time. Today, I will eat no sweets. I ate my big meal for breakfast with the thought I will be able to burn it off and eat light the rest of the day. Here it is.

3 waffle squares = 330
1 T PB = 95
1/4 c sugar free syrup = 30
sugar free creamer 1 T = 25

Total so far 480 calories and most of my carbs.

Laurie, we will do better today; hopefully with out being committed.

Scat and CD, I think the cabbage would makee me unbearable to live with. I used that WW soup before. I need to look up the ingredients for the soup and try it again. it was pretty good even though you get sick of it. CD, did you check out that apple detox one? I like the idea and think I could actually last oh, 1/2 day.lol

Trauma, actually since I didn't work out last week I could claim no such thing. I feel behind since we started on Monday. It is a great challenge. We may have to do it again next week since Meg is MIA this week and it is [b]her[b] challenge.

Meg, did you get lost in NYC?

Res, where are you? Jess?

I get one long tern phrend back and another disappears. It is a good thing my new phrends are here to keep me going.

Kitty, I can't tell you how glad I am your back.

LZ & Mama: My cardio is dancing to hip hop music for 20 minutes; or doing my Core Rhythms dvd. My strength traiing is the series of video tapes called The Gilad Quick Fit System. It came with cardio tapes too, but they are too boring. You don't have to have a specific tape or dvd to do the strength moves. If you have dumbbells or a resistance band, doing 3 sets of 15-20 reps of certain moves will do it for you. You can look up specific exercises for what you want to workout like back or shoulders, for instance, on Fitness dot com, or shape dot com. Working your muscles until the fail is key to building them stronger, so if 3 sets isn't enough to where you can't do another single rep, keep going until you can't do it anymore.

LZ: Blizzards are my downfall too! Mint M&M is my favorite. Awww... you are so sweet! thanks! So far today I've had two cups of coffee w/ Splenda, and sugar free French Vanilla creamer, all my pills including phen and 1 banana. Wow... you got snow in Texas???? Did you take a picture of it??? I forgot where at in Texas you are. My friend Valerie lives in Manville, about 30 miles from Houston. Is that close to you?

Okay. gotta get back to work............

LZ...how is your son? better I hope........My son went to school yesterday, because other than a little bit of a cough he was basically okay. I know the poor guy was fighting something but if he is well enough to be running around and wrestling with his brother he is well enough to go to school. He was fine when he got there, I think he just wanted a day off with "mama"....I would have liked a day off too, but that isn't possible this week......

Met with my trainer this morning and he kicked my butt BIG TIME..I really felt weak. Then I met a friend at Starbucks and I had a spinach and feta wrap (under 250 calories) instead of a pastry..so I think I should be proud of myself......

I think I"m slowly getting on the ball again with diet and exercise, also I have to go back to my rule of not eating anything after 7pm....I kind of got lax with that this past week or so....ugh....

My goal is to firm up my butt and thighs so I'll be using my elliptical more and doing my lunges and squats......20 a night. I know that isn't our challenge but it is going to be my personal challenge....I want to wear my tight exercise pants again and not feel self conscious about all the JUNK in the trunk!

The weather is warmer..YAY.....I'm getting more energy from that alone.....

I am reading everyone's posts and I'm proud of how everyone is doing.....we have our lapses but always get back in the saddle...that is giving me alot of incentive to go on...

I had better go, house is a wreck because I ran out of here like a crazy woman this morning to get to the gym on time, and my trainer wasn't even there....HMPH! He was twenty minutes late but that 's okay, I just got more time in on the treadmill because of that.....

Hello phen family!! Yes, add me to the list of folks who ate something bad yesterday - Was doing well all day, then ... Well, here's my menu from yesterday:

B: Fiber One bar
S: 100-cal pack
L.: LC meal
D: Small amount spaghetti, piece of cornbread with spray butter
S: icing donut (oh noooo!!!!)
S: 100-cal ice cream bar

So yes, the damage is done, but one good thing I did do was I drank a lot of water, so hopefully I was able to "flush" some of those calories out!! I was afraid to weigh this morning ... I decided to just be real good, and then weigh tomorrow -- and I have been extra good so far today!! I stared at that "before" picture of me this morning, and I don't want to look like that anymore ... Took one 15 mg phen this morning, and plan to take a second one this afternoon. I am going to the gym today at lunchtime, get some miles in, and will check back later!!

Yup a blender..and thing is this woman was so nasty looking (and not overweight) and a bit of a wacko that her weight was the least of her problems, she needed a personality diet. She was the office "skooch" ..we all wanted to kill her by the end of the day.

Yeah Scat, I hear you -- and we got a couple of those over here too; big-time personality brats who definitely need a "reality check"!! She should consider herself lucky that you and a couple of other folks over there didn't "band together" and throw her into the blender!!

Yup, there is always one freak to ruin the dynamics of the office....you know the kind...always trying to "one up" you to score big with the boss......she was socially inept and I couldn't believe she had gotten through life as long as she did..oh well, what a freak.....I love my new job because I work independently for the most part, it is just me and my boss ....I go in and do my own "thang"......and my boss is GREAT...I absolutely LOVE her.

See Scat, having a great boss makes all the difference in getting up and going into the workplace - same with me, I absolutely love my head attorney! He is so cool, with a genuine sense of humor, and we get along great! I work for two other attorneys and a paralegal, well, one of the attorneys is leaving the firm, so we'll see what happens --

Phen family, I did soooo good today!! I guess staring at that "fat" picture of me this morning did the trick!! Here is my menu for today:
B: SB protein bar
S: one small banana
L: about 3 tablespoons crab dip w/4 "Eat Right" crackers (ate when I returned from the gym)
S: Fiber One nonfat yogurt and 100 cal pack
D: the same as lunch, and small amount of peas
And lots and lots of water today!!

I finished eating dinner at 7 pm -- I put a turkey breast in the oven as soon as I got home, and that will be done soon. I'll have turkey slices and also take some to make turkey salad to go with those crackers. You know, the crackers are pretty good; it's that company "Eat Right" and they are made with whole wheat. They had a sale on them, 2 boxes for $4, so I'm keeping one here at home and the other at work.

Here's to continued healthy eating, lots of water, and a strong, positive attitude to lose this weight!! Luv you all, have a great night with plenty of zzzzzzz's!! "D
