Howdy guys. I got some errands accomplished today. Yeah for me. It's amazing how much you can get done without the offspring.

IM - Of course it's a naked weigh-in. Don't you weigh in first thing in the morning, stark naked after going to the bathroom. I take off everything except my glasses. I should adjust for how much they weigh! I'm trying to be realistic with my weight loss. I'm only down 5 pounds and this challenge has been almost 10 weeks. Granted there were two holidays included, but still. I want to meet my goal. If I go over, then more cause to celebrate! If I get to 140 before then, I'll adjust it some. 139! I'm only doing the VS stuff at 130. I'm holding strong to that one! Yesterday was day two for the tea. It went down a little easier this time. I don't see that big of a difference in how many times I'm going to the bathroom. Still no BM. I'll give it a full week before I start yelling obscenities at Jillian for making me drink this stuff.

Chester- If drinking all that still doesn't make you crap, I think you are stopped up for good. You need to do that magnesium citrate like once a week to blow yourself out

yeah, that magnesium citrate is the best thing....i'm just wondering how often i can use it.....I'm thinking of giving it a "go" this weekend for added measure, I'm really bloated.

Post What a Great Nap!
Of course, just when everyone is getting all motivated I take a day off. I had coffee with a GF this morning and a three hour nap this afternoon. This is OK since Hubby is on vacation we can stay up late,late. I still may even get a workout in.

My intake for yesterday was too much to brag about. Today I am doing much better.

Chester, I have poop issues too when on phen. Today was my first in about a week. I do better if I take fiber supplements and am starting again today.

Oh, I forgot we have to weigh-in tomorrow. The days of the week are all messed up for me.

Lovin', I flunked late night last night, but am going to conquer it tonight! I have saved lots of calories for later.

Michele, did you go to the gym today?

Choco, how is work going?

Well, need to go finish dinner. TTYL

Yup, I'd say tomorrow is final weigh in. I'll post the new challenge over the weekend, and as far as I know I'll be posting the new weekly thing on Monday. That's the day the 10 in 10 starts for us, so I'm assuming I'll get an email that day detailing what's going down. We'll see how it goes. If it turns out to be lame then I'll pick up where it leaves off and do my own thing.

I'm not looking forward to tomorrow's weigh in. I'm bloat-y, pms-y, pudgy, etc. All of the above.

Anyway, I'm still looking for a place to score some drugs. Not going well so far. If I was heavier I'd just ask my doctor. Unfortunately I'm under the BMI cut off for getting the meds, so that's why I have to resort to purchasing them online. Ugh. (I know, I know, fortunately for me I'm in the "normal" range on the BMI scale now. I just need a little boost to get me to where I wanna be!)

Howdy! Not much happening in my neck of the woods this evening. I've been lazy. It's so cold that it's impossible to get off the couch! I need to stay curled up in a ball watching tv just to stay alive. I know, poor excuse.

I can't do that magnesium thing or the exlax anymore. It's way to violent! The poopy tea is the same way. I get terrible cramping before, during and after. Benefiber is going to be my new best friend. And if he doesn't work, The Marlboro Man may have to make an appearance. Just one. They need to come out with a half cigarette. Just for the people that use it for movements. OK, I'll shut up now. I guess the addiction never dies.

So if tomorrow is our last weigh in day then we need a belly measurement as well. Sorry guys, but let's finish what we started. s u c k it up or in and just do it!

Macho man is going to the daycare for the first time tomorrow. I wonder who is going to cry more. I keep telling myself that this is what he needs. And that it's only for three hours. It's not that I mind leaving him with a sitter, (my sitter is a good friend of ours and a nurse and loves on him the entire time he's there) but the daycare ladies don't know him. They don't know that he loves to carry his blanket everywhere and sometimes trips over it, but still won't let it go. Or that he loves to play peek-a-boo. Or that he does fly by lovin' (he'll walk up to you and put his head on your lap for a second and then walk off.) Or that he loves it when you sing his Macho Man song. Yes, I made up a song for each of the kids that teaches them how to spell their names. Then Macho has an additional song; the Macho Man song. He smiles every time he hears it. They better take good care of my little man at this well respected and recommended daycare where I'm sure they are qualified to be there and under surveillance.

OK, it's time to hit the sack. Don't forget to weigh-in. No excuses!

I know how you feel choco...so close and yet so far....we aren't considered obese on the charts, but I don't feel fit and healthy.....Last ten lbs are the hardest, I always heard that but never believed it until now....but it CAN be done....you need to find a doctor that won't be afraid to prescribe you the phen. I went to a weight loss doctor and he was really sympathetic. He said that even being 20 lbs overweight can put you at a higher risk for dieabetes and other things. I have high cholesterol so I guess he figured if the phen made it easier for me to eat better I can get that down.

Chester - Good luck tomorrow with Macho Man

I'm narrowing down my rotation selections now. There's one in NY that sounds really promising, but I don't think the bf is going to like that. I'm at a crossroads here...I think I'm still going to apply for it and if that is where I'm matched, I'll do what I have to do. I wasn't planning on applying to any of the rotations that were far away, but this one offers a Master's through NYU and I only have to complete 4 additional months after the rotation for a total of 16 months. I'm applying to one in DC and one in VA for sure.

I did a 40 minute wog on the treadmill tonight and called it quits. I'm feeling really drained for some reason.

Just wanted to wish everyone a belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I was away on holiday and have actually been trying to read all the posts here. So far, what's stuck in my head the most is Chester's poopy issues which by the way, I find very entertaining. Marlboro Man always helps me at poopy time

I am so sorry that I haven't weighed in a few times. I did weigh in today at 188 lbs. Although I forgot completely that we were doing the waist measurements too. Sorry

I did not give up on this challenge - i was away and didn't have access to my emails all the time - it was driving me insane. The good part is that for Christmas, I went to a resort and spa - will try to post some pictures soon. It was gorgeous, i felt so healthy and relaxed. And when I went, I weighed 192 lbs and came back 4 lbs lighter. So surprisingly, I actually ate healthy during the holidays. I haven't been on phen for a year now but I will be starting on Monday. My birthday's coming up in February and I want to look as good as I possibly can.

Hope everyone's well and happy.

Hey guys, I have been up a while since my crappy learning team from school is slacking. I had to redo all the work they helped with on the last assignment and this time, even though they had 3 weeks, have still not gotten it to me. I sent the professor an emal. He said the first group assignement was great, I did it all. the 2nd was imcomplete. I guess I didn't get everything corrected .. I am so mad, but I did 147 out of 150 on my test ...

Clo- I am so glad to see you back
Chester- its hard to leave them, but he really will like it eventually, any way that his sis could go just once? Let them know how involved you are, they aren't likely to slip up.

choco- maybe try a weightloss Dr, that is your best bet, or beg your Dr. for a 1 month supply.

Lovn and Lz- Hey , nope had family visiting so no gym, I am going today.

170, woo hoo. I can't believe I am back there. I know I was wayyyy over that even though I wouldn't get near a scale. Belly is 35, TOM is here but I have been taking Cla for a couple of days.
