This is a continuation of the July challenge but new people are always welcome to join! So far we have Lucie Lastic and myself. If anyone else would like to join, please include what your goal is for the month.

My goal is to lose 7 pounds and to start back up on my pilates.

Let's get these pounds off in August!

Yeah !!! Me Me Me

I am going to be a little more realistic than last month and go for 6Lbs

I also want to be more consistant(?) ie every day Mon-Fri with my exercising.

Well Considering its the 1st today I'm off to quite a good start.

only 1 tiney tiny piece of chocolate and chicken salad for dinner.

My goal is 10 pounds a month and exercise 3 times a week oir at least 45 minutes.

Starting August off great Lucie Lastic!

WannaBa6, welcome! Is this your first child? It looks like you didn't gain to much during your pregnancy. I have a 3 1/2 month old girl and a 2 year old boy.

I ate very well today but no exercise, grr better luck tomorrow.

See ya girls then! Maybe we should call this challenge the 5'5" challenge

Good Morning,

Thanks for the welcome Lucie & Lose4River!

Lose4 this my 2nd child. (4 year old girl & my son will be 8 months on the 4th)

In Feb. 06 I was around 148 pounds after Brycen I was 181! So I gained enough .... TOO MUCH if you ask me.

I did a quick workout this morning and I have started on my first 24oz bottle of water. This is one of my biggest problems! I don't drink enough water.

OK. GIRLS WE CAN DO THIS! HAVE A GREAT THURSDAY!!!!

Lucie,

You can adjust your time by :
Clicking on the MY PROFILE LINK
Then click EDIT PREFERENCES
Go to YOUR PREFERENCES
You will then see TIME ADJUSTMENT

It should suggest a number to put in the box so that the time will say the same as your computer clock. So if your computer clock has the correct time....your post will also.

I did try before but I dont think I adjusted it the right way.

Well at least youll know I'm not actually at the computer at "Stupid O'Clock" now.

I have done pretty good today. I missed breakfast and I know that I shouldn't . I had a light lunch and have had about 40 ouncs of water. I have 24 more to go before bed. I teach as an adjunct on Thursday night so dinner will be late and hopefullly light. Can't wait to hear from the rest of you. Hope everyone had a great day!!

Yeah, I am so happy to have to you here wannaba6. LucieLastic and I did last month basically alone and have learned a lot about each other but it's always fun to add more to our circle And I am not trying to diss your water drinking habits but a tid bit I learned is that you should drink at least half of your weight in water, which you are close to. I usually try to get a min. of 100 oz. though. What is an adjunct? Congrats on your baby boy, a perfect family, a boy and girl! Hey I gained 60 this pregnancy and about 85 the last one, so I think you did good.

Lucie Lastic, glad you got the clock adjusted Are you still doing the fit for life program? I still haven't had Ben take a pic but I will I promise. How about you? How is hubby's new job?

I ate well and exercised, just not pilates. My toes hurt from the shoes I was wearing when I was working out though. I have to wear different ones the next time. The scale finally moved some, so hopefully it will show a good one at weigh in.
