    Unhappy

I began Phentermine 30mg blue/clear on Friday. I've been doing good to eat anything, although I have making myself at least eat something for every meal because I don't want to mess my metabolism up...anywho, I began dieting 3 days before starting my phen and I lost 3.5 lbs. I've been taking phen for 3 days now (+ drinking a gazillion gallons of water) and I haven't lost anything. I haven't gained any either...exactly 144.5 the same as when I started. When can I expect some results?

Well at least I'm not alone. Please keep me informed. I'm curious as to why we haven't seen results, but everyone else on the boards have astonishing results? Who knows?

From what I understand in reading through the posts, those that don't have much to lose won't see the big losses and those that do have a lot to lose, will see big losses at first and then slow down. Where you 2 are starting at is where many simply want to get to.

That does help. I'm eating salads alot. I had turnip greens cooked in water only. last night with 1/4 c. whole kernel corn. (I'm a vegetarian) For lunch I had steamed vegetables (brocolli, baby corn, carrots) Breakfast was special k (1 c.) with whole milk. I just can't drink 2%. oh, and 2 grapes. My mother wanted me to see how sweet they were. What'd you think?

How long have you been eating this way and what is your usual caloric intake. You don't want to eat too little, that your body goes into starvation mode. It seems that for a lot of ladies here, if they have been eating too little, then start eating more (around 1200-1400), they start losing. It's hard to eat when you don't feel hungry, but it is easier to make wise choices. How much are you exercising? Also, when you haven't been drinking water like you should, and then you start, your body holds on to some of it at first till it gets used to ALWAYS having enough water, so drink at least 64 every day. There is a topic somewhere that talks about the importance of water. It's an interesting read. I'll try to find it.

You have been so helpful. Thank you. I was really a H2O slacker before I started taking phen. I logged everything I ate yesterday and it was only 769 calories. And I really MADE myself eat that. I'm gonna try to eat more today and if I can't eat more in quanity, I may eat something with more calories. Do you think that will work?

That is definately not enough calories. Most say to not go under 1200. Try adding a slim-fast or something like nuts that have calories, but also lots of protein.
Drink, drink, drink water. I read somewhere to drink 30 oz. in the morning, 30 oz. in the afternoon, and 30 oz. in the evening. It said to drink the 30 oz. in a 30 minute period. I do around 20 oz. the 3 times a day, but I also have to have water with me to drink throughout the day. Find a brand you like. There is only 1 that I can afford that I really like, so I stock up.

    Hi there Moni...

I have been on phen for a little while now...

While in the beginning...the weigh dropped crazy fast...and steady. But keep in mind it is a tool to help you make lifestyle changes...eat healthy...exercising...and drinking a ton of water.

It is not a miracle pill...and you still need to work really hard to get results.

There are websites that you can post your daily intake of foods (fitday)...and this way you will have hwat you have eaten...as far as carb/protein/fat...and what you still need to take in.

You would be amazed on how much you really need to eat...and eat in regular intervals
