I have noticed alot of people concentrating on loosing pounds. Although this is fine and I really want to see pounds going down myself I know the only real way to get it off my behind is by exercise... So I want to start a challenge.

I challenge anyone who wants to join to 30 days of exercise before July 4. That is basicly 5 days a week of exercising. We can start the day with tomorrow. Or you can set your own goal for days exercised!!! I think this type of goal is much more attainable. We do have control over how many days we work out! We don't have control over how many pounds we actaully loose. I really want to get back on track with my exercising. If I don't make my self accountable for time spent on the treadmill I won't do it. I see most of my weight loss with actual exercise. I have not quit my dieting but have slacked off on exercising and I quit loosing weight.

So who wants to join me??? Let me know! Then we can get started...

I want in!! Sign me up! I want my goal to be exercising EVERY day, though... if I take one day off, I tend to take 2, 3, 4, etc. off. I had a GREAT workout today, so I'm off to a good start! This is a super idea, Shannon!

P.S. Thanks for posting about this on the main board - I don't ever come over here to the challenges board because I lose pounds so slowly I'd feel like a failure. But exercising is something that I totally CAN control. I LOVE this idea!

ok shannon I want in too-havent excercised in a couple weeks and right now aunt flo is getting ready to visit so the scale is reflecting that-anyway-I am in so here we go-I am also in the weight challenge for july 4 so this should be intresting! thanks shannnnon! Cindy

Thanks Shannon. I need a really bick kick in the B***. I just can't seem to get motivated. I had a toe nail removed last monday so I am unable to wear any closed toe shoes. But I will start today when I get home tonight from my girl scout function. I have Leslie Sansone's walking away the pounds three-mile video. I will try it and see how I do I am not promising anything it depends on how my foot feels.

I am sooo in! I really need this! So what are the goals exactly at least 30min a day of exercise?

Any kind? Does it matter...can it be 1 day yoga another day tread mill?
