Hi

I am 32 Australian, mother of one and i have let myself get so fat it is disgusting...... I am 33kgs over weight (77lbs).

Even my husband - who never discusses my weight said something at the weekend about my gut!!

I really want to have another baby but not this fat........I am completely unmotivated, so today the Dr gave me this drug - let's hope it works.

My other problem is that I drink so much alcohol and love it!!!!!!! I am unsure about the warnings with Duromine and alcohol.......... I'll be able to tell you tonight when I have had a couple!!

I would love some buddies - people I can talk honestly with about how fat I feel!!

Please help me!!!!!!!!

Welcome to aboard! You can feel free to speak about whatever you choose here on the forum. There are a ton of wonderful people here, all willing to give support and encouragement.

I am not a drinker so I cannot speak about the consequences of drinking while taking medication. My gut feeling however is that it is something you may want to think twice about....better still share your concerns with your physician.
