Hi, I am stacey. I am fron North Carolina. I just started phentermine on 8/3 on 8/8 i weigh myself and saw that i had lost 5lbs. I was so amazed. I had been trying to lose weight forever. I am not sure what i am at now. I am trying not to get back on the scales til 9/3. I am looking for a buddy to help me with this. There are alot of changes that i have made and want to make that i am doing this correct. For instance my exercising. My dr. told me that walking was the best exercise, so i walk 1 mile in the am and 1 mile in the pm. Is that good or should i walk more. Please i need a buddy bad...

Hi stacey, my name is chrissy, i just started on the tablets today. So far so good on the food front, now just got to get the exercise part started and i'll be fine. My doctor also told me to start with walking. My doctor just told me to watch the amount of fat grams i have a day, just wondering what you are doing?? I'm new to this an trying to work out where to start on these boards being new. Found it by chance by having a bit of a look at the tablets, I would like someone to help keep me motivated, hope to hear from u soon

Hi Chrissy, I will tell you this you are going to be glad that you are on the pills. They really have made a big difference in my life. As far as exercising. I walk in the am and pm. I must say it was very hard for me to change my lifestyle at first. But i have been on my diet for almost 2 weeks now, i started walking this past sunday. I am not exactly sure what i have lost, scared to get on the scale to be straight with you. But what i did when i start what made myself a goal. Everyday is a challenge for me but i reward myselft at the end. I eat breakfast, which is the most important meal of the day, i may eat 2 boiled eggs, or oatmeal. To be honest i have to make myself eat now, i do not have an appitite at all. I use to be one of these people that had to have a moutain dew in my hand 24/7. I just could not do with out them. Now i haven't had one in 2wks. I drink nothing but juice (grapefruit, cranberry) and plenty of water. As i was saying i made myself a goal chart. For istance giving up the drinks was one of them, Leaving junk food alone (mcdonalds, bojangles). I eat nothing after 6pm. To be honest it has only been 2wks and i feel better than i have in years. I am not going to lie it is a challenge. I am here to say that before this i would make goals for myself and never accomoplished them. But i am very proud of myself. I have showed myself that i can reach them with a lil will power and help from my family. Now with exercising. I walk on a treadmill. My dr. said that was a better then walking on a track because you are going one speed and not slowing down. I gradually moved myself up. For instance when i first started i would walk 1 mile. Now i am doing 2 miles in the am and 2 in the pm. Thank you for responding back. Maybe if you like you and i could be buddies and help each other out. Hi Stacey, your story sounds so much like mine, but like you this time i'm going to commit, only hurting myself if i don't be honest, breakfeast is what i have to work on that's my first goal. So far so good, i sent you an email, hope to hear from u soon

Hi to both of you guys, my name is Judith and have been on phen since the end of May. Good luck to you both with phen, the first couple of weeks are the worst as far as the side effects go. How much are you guys trying to lose? I wish the best of luck to you both, most people have good luck with phen if they eat sensibly (which also includes making sure you eat enough), drink a bunch of water and making sure you have some exercise on a regular basis. Again, good luck.
