I'm going to try this...I need a buddy to do this with.

I am 34, I have 5 boys, twins that are 10, twins that are 9 and a 3.5 year old. I was at my biggest when I started dieting on Feb 9th of this year. I've done pretty good but when I hit 40lbs lost, I can't seem to get much further.

Hiya 5boys! I am new also. And realized I cant do it alone...I have 2 boys, ages 3 and almost 2. We have about the same weight to lose. And it would be great to make friends and keep track of each others progress. Also get tips, encouragement and share laughs! Cause Im sure you know the many laughs our children bring us! hi

i'd like to jump in too. i've been at a stall for a weeks and have gained a few more. i'd like someone to talk to as well.

right now im trying a low cal diet. that's what worked for me in the past so i decided to go back to that. its kind of hard to restrict my cals but its just something i have to do if i want to get this weight off. i walk in the park every chane i get at least 2miles if i can.

i have a son 22 months and i need to be smaller to keep up with him, lol.

i look forward to getting to know you both.

I've been overweight all my life, in my teens I was average but had an eating disorder -
So, I 've never really been a healthy dieter.
Even though I am restricting my calories. I think that this is the healthiest that I have ever dieted!

on phen this week- I have a daughter 7 and a son 4

How was the week? Thank God for Saturday, not that it's quiet or anyless hetic than any other day of the week, I just like Saturdays!

Are you guys doing the Non-Celb challenge? I haven't watched the show from last week but signed up to be a part of the challenge.

I think that it would be fun to see what we all can do without the money and "extras" that celebs have.

hey all

i haven't been watching it but it is a good idea. this weekend has been a bummer for me i actually can't wait to start a new week. i don't want to lose my focus though, my goal is to lose 15 pounds and i know i can do that. i will need lots of support to b/c if my focus is not all there i might slip.

what are your goals for the month of may? how much do you all want to try to lose?

I'm sorry your weekend was a bummer-
I personally love spring I just can't stay inside
I was disappointed though I bought one of those pedometers - I thought I was doing alot of walking
well that meters says I'm not errrrrr- but it did
motivate me to walk some more to get it up.

I have been trying to lose for a year and half
I started at 272 and got down to 220
then backslided to 238 or so errrr
but this week I have been doing great and am
228- yeah
My goal first goal is under 200 and then
we will see
I hope you all have a great week and lose lots

You know its really hard for me to say where I want to be. I have 160 on my ticker b/c that seems healthy for me and it's still 85 pounds away which totally scares the heck out of me. I've had 5 kids / two sets of twins and my body will never be the same. I'm not going to say I want to be 135lbs like weight watchers says I should be for my height (5'4). Everyone is different.
I'd also like to add that clothing sizes ****!!!
I wear one size in one brand and a totally different size in another!

I did good yesterday
not as well today broke my good stride about
lunch and had a butterfinger- for lunch- oops

I had a bad day, I'm not sure why I was so hungry. I walked an extra mile on the treadmill to make up for some of it!

hi all

yesterday was good for me & today is going good (so far). im trying eat no more than 1300 cals & exercise daily. i typed up a contract to put on my fridge as a reminder that i have committed to this. my husband & i both signed it, he has to be involved too i need the support. my normal weigh in day was M-S, lol i weighed daily but it's stated in the contract that i can't weigh until may 31st. im a scale addict to the fullest and i let the up/down numbers get to me. so if i don't know that i gained 5oz i wont be so hard on myself. im so bad he had to hide it so i'll cheer ya'll on when you lose

I weighted this morning lost 7 pounds in a week so that is alright- I also walked alot today
the meter says 12,660 steps but I'm tired
