Can anyone help me out? - Phentermine.com

I have recently started on phentermine, I am in the UK and you cannot get this prescribed by a doctor, I have been given the tablets at a 'diet clinic' all is well, I feel fine and they seem to be working ok I have lost 19 pounds in a month.

The thing that is bothering me is after doing a little research and finding this fantastic site, my pills don't look like any of the phentermine pills that I have seen on the internet, there are no markings on them they are 30mg and round and pink. I wondered if anyone had used phentermine that looked like this, after reading about the phen-fen I got worried that my pills might be phen -fen. I can post a pic of the tablets if you would like to have a look.

I couldnt imagine them being fake if they came from a diet clinic

If the clinic is a real clinic with real Drs then it would seem they should give real meds.Im confused on that one. I have never heard of phen looking like that but could it be becuase it comes from a munufacturer in the uk and thats why its diffrent?? I dont know.... I would also contact a pharmicist to see. You have lost weight so we know there working but like you said it may be something other than phentermine.Good luck

Thanks for your replies, I have just finished my last pill today, but I have an appointment at the clinic tomorrow, so as soon as I have some more I will take a picture and post it on this topic and hopefully someone may be able to help me out.

Also I will ask the doctor tomorrow why I cannot find this pill on the internet and see what he says.

It is very difficult in the UK to get anything like this prescribed by your GP. As a consequence it is costing me a fortune to buy these pills, if I could have got something similar from my GP it would probably cost me around £6 per prescription thanks to our wonderful NHS (I think this would be around $15), however they are very reluctant to give people drugs to lose weight, perhaps it is expensive for them, or maybe they just think that we should lose weight the old fashioned way.

Obesity is frowned upon here as being something which affects lazy, gluttonous people, however I would say in my case it was probably more to do with my state of mind, self esteem, mild depression.

How is the whole thing viewed in the US?
I believe obesity is much more common there, am I right in making this assumption?
