Goog morning everyone
i am sorry if i complain to much but you the only ones that listen without all opinions
i have been having some issues for the two weeks or so

well for one my job has been flucking with me since i have been here from insulting letters to condoms left in my office to them trying to cut my oncall pay and i am the only full time technician and there is one registry tech
i do everything here from secertary,tech,training for students,order supplies and dust the office when housekeeping fails to do so
the other tech is really nice
he is not too smart and he still ask me sinple shyt and he has been here for a year now
and i learned the job in two weeks
he is always falling asleep as a matter of fact he is sleep now and the dr clinic starts soon


the second problem is my landlord i pay him 650 a month for my 2 bedroom apartment
i am never late with the rent
the neighborhood is not perfect but as long as you mind your business its ok
and that is what i do i cant even tell you my neighbors name and i dont care its the best way to stay out of bullshyt
but my landlord calls me for petty stuff
he said my neighbors complain about my noise
i dont make any noise except for my radio on saturdays if i even play it and its just me and my daughter and company when i have it
if i argue in my house he knows about it
now his son use to stay in my apartment but could not pay his
anyway one day my uncle was dropping off my daughter and he was knocking on my window a little hard so i could hear him
and the reason for that is the the ba$tard of a landlord had not replaced my doorbell in 6 months
so his son called him and told him i was breaking up his shyt and some man was trying to bust out his windows
i cussed that motherflucker out so bad ooh i even invented some new curse words
he takes his time fixing things but is early for his rent
he flirts and talks under my clothes and i be like stop flucking with me cause if you get this no rent will paid *****hole
anyway last month he raised the rent to 700 dollars unbelievable for an apartment
then last night he calls and says my neighbors said i keep up noise
and i said when did i keep up noise
he could not give me a day
so i cussed his ***** out again and i was crying during and afterwords because i cant take alot of stress
and i told him i dont bother anyone i mind my business and i suggest they do the same
i dont even know them
the loudest i have been this weekend is my freinds and tv
anyway since then everynight i am stressed and drinking white wine to calm me down and smoking more i am excersizing more also i guess thats good
i am only 27 divorced mother and all by her self financially and in every other aspect i am about th break

I am so sorry to hear that you have to deal with all that crap!

Personally, I would be looking for somewhere else to live, you have enough to deal with.

I find $700 outrageous for a 2 bdrm apt. I live in Ohio and when I was a single mom I had a 3 bdrm HOUSE for $650. It wasn't the best part of town but it was kinda in the middle (lower middle class I guess you'd call it).

su-k it up right now but start searching.

As far as the kid sleeping at work.

Who in the heck is sick enough to leave condoms in your office. Is it somebody that you know. Need somemore info here.


I don't mean to preach to the preacher, but....being a single mom is hard enough without dealing with an ***** of a landlord and crappy working conditions.

If you don't like the situations that you are in start looking to change them. Not easy, I know, but definitely possible. You and your child deserve to live in peace.

Condoms left in your office/workstation (wherever) is sexual harasment.

I say you bring a sexual harasment inquiry into the situation. You do not have to work in a hostile work environment. There are laws to protect you. Many, many hurdles, yes, but there are laws. Seek advice.

Many companies offer advice services within their benefit packages (insurance programs, Employee Assistance Programs, etc). Check it out.

I HAVE APPLIED THERE 3 YRS AGO
THEY OFFERED ME 3 DAYS A WEEK
AND THEY NEEDED COVERAGE FOR THE LADY THAT WAS GOING ON VACATION
I WAS ALREADY WORKING PART TIME AT UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO THEY WERE GIVING ME CRAP TOO
THEY WERE VERY PREDJUDICE
SO ANYWAY WHEN THE LADY CAME BACK FROM VACATION
CHIT HIT THE FAN
THE HOSPITAL IS MOSTLY HISPANIC AND CAUCASION
FOR ME NO PROBLEM I GREW UP IN A MULTICULTURAL NEIGHBORHOOD
THE LADY STARTED BEING MEAN AND POSSESIVE WITH THE OFFICE SHE WAS OLD SO I TRIED TO RESPECT HER
THE MANAGER KEPT TRYING TO LOWER MY HOURS
SHE EVEN TOLD A LIE SAYING THE OLDER TECH NEEDED MORE HOURS FOR HER RETIREMENT FUND
I HAD JUST GOT MY APARTMENT AND WAS PROUD OF MYSELF FOR GOING TO SCHOOL AND PICKING MYSELF BACK UP AFTER MY DIVORCE
WHEN SHE TOLD THAT LIE I BROKE DOWN AND CRIED

SO AS TIME WENT ON
ONE MORNING I OPENED THE OFFICE AND ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE DOOR THERE WAS A ANNONYMOUS LETTER ADDRESSED TO ME
IT HAD STATEMENTS OF ME HAVING FOUL BODY ODOR AND THE PATIENTS AND STAFF WERE REPORTING THIS TO THEM
I WAS IN TEARS AND MY HEART HAD BEGAN TO RACE EVEN THOUGH I KNEW IT WAS NOT TRUE
A MONTH LATER I OPENED THE OFFICE AGAIN AND ON THE FILE CABINET THERE WAS A OPENED CONDOMN LEFT ON THE FILE CABINET
I CALLED EVERYBODY SO THEY COULD SEE IT
THESE INCIDENTS ONLY HAPPENED WHEN THE OTHER TECH WAS NOT PRESENT
SHE FINALLY RETIRED AND I WANTED THE FULL TIME POSOTION
MY MANAGER KEPT DELAYING INFO ON HOW TO BECOME FULL TIME
AT THE LAST MINUTE SHE TOLD ME I HAD TO WORK THAT SATURDAY IN ORDER TO RECIEVE BENEFITS THAT WAS THE DEADLINE
I DONT EVEN WORK SATURDAYS
THERE WAS ANOTHER TECH WHO DID SHE WAS MEAN AND HER ATTENDANCE WAS HORRIBLE
BUT HEY KEPT HER AND GAVE ME HELL
ANYWAY NOW THEY ARE TRYING TO CUT MY ONCALL PAY THAT IS A 800 DOLLAR PAYCUT
I CANT AFFORD THAT
THEY WANNA SAVE THE BUDGET BUT THEY WONT CUT THE REGISTRY TECH HOURS WHO IS ARABIAN
I DO EVERYTHING THERE I MEAN EVERYTHING

SHE WENT ON VACATION AND GAVE NE THE ONCALL PGR AND NEGLECTED TO TELL ME HOW I WAS GETTING PAID FOR IT OR EVEN SHOW ME HOW TO PUNCH IN
WELL WHEN SHE CAME BACK FROM VACATION THATS WHEN SHE RESIGNED SUPPOSEDLY
SO HERE I AM HOLDING A PGR FOR THREE MONTHS AND NO PAY
UNTIL ONE OF THE RESPITORY THREAPIST WHO WAS THE OLD MANAGERS FRIEND SAID ARE YOU GETTING PAID FOR THE PGR?
I SAID NO SO SHE GOT ME ALL MY MONEY BACK
AND SHE HAS BEEN THERE FOR ME FOR EVERYTHING THEY HAVE BEEN TRYING TO DO TO ME

SHE HAS A SMALL CHILD AND HER RENT JUST WENT UP 50 BUCKS
DO NOT DEPRIVE HER OF HER MONEY

SHE SAID YES ALI IS MY KIND BUT THIS IS WHAT I FELT FROM THE HEART I SMILED AND CRIED A LITTLE
AS FOR MY LANDLORD I WILL DEFINATELY BE PLANNING A MOVE HOPEFULLY A HOUSE
I OWN A HOME BUT MY MOM LIVES IN IT
I GOT IT FOR HER BECAUSE SHE WAS IN A BIND

Hey baby

Isnt it illegal to cut someones pay for no reason? Also sexual harassment is illegal next time they start flappin their jaws about lowering your pay or getting rid of you remind them about the sexual harassment tell them if they want a budget cut maybe they should get rid of the guy who is sleeping on office time. Document bothe the sexual harassment and the bad work habits of the other tech (write it down in a notebook and show it to someone in charge) DO you have a human resources department??? They are for just this sort of problem...

Also about your landlord...was your apartment lease up for renewal? Do you have a contract bc he CANNOT raise the rent unless the apt is up for renewal of lease. Look at your lease agreement..does it say he can raise the rent? If it does then how long of a notice soes it say he has to give you? He could wind up in a law suit. ALso, tell him that his constant baggering of you is HARASSMENT and you will take action if he doesnt stop.

Be a woman...I read all your posts and KNOW you have it in you. You know you are tough and strong. I know it. Everyone on here knows it now show the people who are bothering you just how much woman you have in you.
