Ok I just got my secret pal stuff back, with a form from the post office, it has been opened, what the heck is going on??????

What do you mean it has been opened? Someone opened it to search it? The tape fell off? What does the form say?

The stuff was in one of those paded envelopes, and someone pulled the little rip cord thingy. The note says the post office opened it and I should call if I have any questions. What the heck???

I would call and ask WHY they opened it. Hmmm... maybe just a random package search?? Perhaps they suspected something?? Very strange. Is anything missing?

Ok secret pal plug your ears....

A little packet of potpouri is gone. It wasn't the flower kind, but rather the flat envelope with a picture of seaspray on it.

The post office said given the times they are entitled to search any packages. That darn Bin Ladden. I guess I learned not to send little envelopes of goodsmelling stuff. I will repackage it and drop it in the mail again.

Oh good grief! Like they cant tell what potpourri looks like. The least they could have done was send it on instead of returning it. Did you tell them you are missing an item? And that they may have a right to search but that does not give them the right to steal.
