Hmmm... where's Nal when ya need her?

We started a secret phen pal group back in September, and then some other newbies who came along right about the time we had finished collecting names decided to start another group. I am not sure exactly who is in charge of it, but I know I saw a few posts where Nal was trying to get everyone to "register" lol.

Maybe the right person will show up soon and reply here too

It's a lot of fun, you have to sign someone's guestbook who has a website, then the person in charge contacts you for your snail mail address, then they draw your secret phen pal. You send a gift once a month, and usually the deadline will be posted here, so you'll know when to mail by.

I'm not in on this second group, but if there were problems having a place to sign a guestbook, I got one

we started this secret phen pal group...once a month no later than the 23rd we send a gift (limit is $10 but more if you want)

Rena And SeaCruisin collected everyones names who were interested and then matched everyone up and let us know who our pals were...we are goign to reveal our names in the December package...

after we started..lots of new people wanted to get involved..so chunsa and I started a second group....(i am in the first group- all i did was collect names from Nitras guestbook of everyone who wanted in and then emailed with their secret pal info)

we will probably start over in january if you guys want in on that one...or FELL FREE to start you own and catch up with in Jan.

I was really gung-ho about getting in on the phen pal thing the second time around, but I'm not sure I'll do it again. I'd like to, but we'll see how this one shakes out, first.
Everyone was all excited to start it, then when it came down to listing favorites, picking dates, etc...I couldn't get anyone to respond (well, okay, a few people did.) I'm still participating, and will through Christmas whether I get anything or not. I hope those who did sign up the second time stick with it.

Find one of Rena's posts. Click on the profile button at the top (face w/ ?) and then click on her website address. You may have to fiddle around on her website a little til you find the guest book - but it's there.
