Hi
Im from Brisbane Australia. I only have 30lbs to lose now..i have already lost 9lbs in my first 2 weeks. It would be nice to be able to chat to someone about weighloss, and to be able to support each other.
Im 36 years old , married and a mother of 6. 5 girls aged 17, 16, 7, 6, 4 and boy aged 10

Hi Dawn - Congratulations on the 9 pounds. That's fabulous!!! I've lost 15 pounds in about a month and a half. It's hard work for me because I have to lose another 77 pounds. Wow - 6 kids must keep you running around alot! I have two boys ages 11 and 13.

My 13 year old has always been facinated with Australia. When he was 5, he drew a picture of a kangaroo with it's baby inside. He got into an art festival with that one.

Well keep up the good work. You're doing great!

I will be glad when i can say i have lost 15lbs..or even better 20lbs. lol I seem to think weightloss all day...I have noticed that the tape measure is much kinder to me than the scales!
Tell your son he can ask me anything about australia and i will try to answer him. The main thing people usually want to know is are there kangaroos hopping down the streets here. lol Really they are just like big rabbits!

Hiya, Dawn. I'm from little ole Alabam. Nothing as exotic as Australia. I am 31 yrs and mother of boy 12 and girl 9. Both are extrodinary kids. 'Course they are mine, so I would think so. But they are really good kids. I don't work anymore, but stay home and teach them. I imagine your boy feels outnumbered! OMG 16 and 17 yr old girls! Absolutely terrifying for me to contemplate. My daughter is 9, and she already wants red stripes in her dark blonde hair! so, teens really scare me! LOL If it is any encouragement, I have given up 35 pounds in 4 months. So, you are well on your way. I need to get rid of another 50+.( I refuse to say lost- I don't plan on finding it ever again, so I get rid of it- LOL)Keep us informed as to how you do.

trust me.we think living somewhere like Alabama is just as exotic as living in brisbane australia. This is just suburbia like anywhere else....except we are innundated by japanese tourists a lot of the time. lol
I find your weight loss in 4 months very encouraging.. i hope i am as lucky!
I had fast food yesterday for the first time in a month but im not going to feel bad about it because it was just a treat and we all need those dont we?
We will talk about teenagers another time....It could take a looooooong time!lol

Marnie here- Texas stay at home mom of four boys ages 8, 7, 5, and 2!! Two are getting ready to have birthdays though so I will have 9,7,6 and 2!!! Anyhow I have only 18 to 20 togo!! BUT I heard its the last 20 that is the HARDEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I would love to be your buddy!!
