I went to the er last night because 3 days of not being able to breath w/ back pain was scaring me, and my mom was scaring me worse. lol

My resting heart rate was 123/70. When the hearts in over drive it pounds on the vertebrae. Which explains the throbbing pain too.

Hopefully this helps w/ some who have back pain at the bra line.

Thanks for the info. I've had the same problem for a couple of months now, even had a chest x-ray for the shortness of breath. I also have back pain at the bra line on the right side of my shoulder, with the shortness of breath. I've been worried, and think I'm making myself "anxious" because of it, which is causing my shortness of breath to worsten.

hellooooooooo friends :)

Mid back pain is very rare, since that area of the spine column is not rigid or bent often. The discs in the middle back do not get the every day abuse as those in the neck portion or lower back areas. The middle spine protects our internal body organs and provide steadiness to our skeletons. Herniated discs and degenerative conditions are strange occurrences in the mid spine. Middle back pain can also be the result of some major injuries like accidents or fall.

Mid back pain is a common problem for every person in present days. Fortunately, this middle back pain is very simple to fix for most of the people. There are various causes for middle back pain and symptoms related with middle back pain could vary person to person. In most cases this middle back pain can be treated very quickly. Generally our middle back is a collection of 12 bones that are main parts of the thoracic section of the spine. These bones protect our spinal cord. Each of these bones is a disc of cartilage, which acts as shock absorbers due to their elasticity. There are also muscles and tendons in our body, which provides maximum stability to our back.

There are so many problems that can cause middle back pain. In these problems muscle strains are the most common cause for mid back pain. This back pain usually occurs due to lifting heavy weight objects, too much exercising regularly, or even suddenly bending back or twisting can often cause muscles very much strained and overworked. In addition to these causes, improper position, not sleeping in a correct position, and fatness are also common reasons for middle back pain. There is a good option that mid back pain stress will go away by itself. Muscular conditions normally require only time, but not treatment, in order to cure this problem perfectly. There are numerous cases of middle back pain, which may occur after successful completion of treatment for lower back disorder. This back pain mainly takes place after a surgery is performed to correct the lumbar problem. There are two main reasons for middle spine pain. If a spinal fusion process cured your lower back pain that fusion may be applying more stress to the spinal column above it in the mid back region of your back. This might be the reason for discomfort.

You know my lower back was hurting bad. Just so happens whenever I take extra vitamin C's my lower back aches. So I stopped taking 1,000 mg of Vitamin C's and my lower back doesn't ache anymore.
So maybe its something you are eating or taking. Keep in mind everyone's body responds differently.

I just started using Phentermine about two weeks ago. I woke up this morning with a pain in my back right at the bra line on the right side just under my shoulder blade. The pain has not changed or lessened all day. It is very centeralized in one area. I did nothing to injure myself. I had been feeling mustle pain in my right are for over a week and now the back pain on the same side. This is not normal for me. I also take Lovastatin 40mg but have been on it for over a year with no mustle pain. Now all of a sudden right after starting Phentermine? I guess I will just monitor it for now.
