I have been taking generic phentermine for the past 2 weeks, with some success. I feel like it's not working like it should.

I got back to my doctor tomorrow and was thinking about asking her to prescribe me adipex.

My insurance covers a portion of the cost. Adipex will cost me $38 for 90 days and generic will cost me $11 for 90 days. It's really a small difference to pay if its going to be that much better.

Has anybody else had more luck with taking a brand name phentermine vs. the generic??

hey there!! I completely understand!! I took Generic I believe (blue/white capsul ) 37.5 for 6 days.. didn't feel much but when i got a prescription for Adipose 37.5 .. IT was SOOOO Different! There is a HUGE difference to me. I was feeling it! hopefully it'll work out for you.. the generic may work for you just wait a few more days. I only got the prescription because I only had to pay $14 instead of $85 at a weight loss clinic ..
but i can tell the difference Drastically

Im on the blue and white capsule and it only comes in 30mg .. the other thing you have to think about is once you go to the 37.5 tab there nothing high than that so that why my dr advise me to start with the 30 mg till it really didnt help anymore and i have been on it for almost 2 1/2 mo and it is still working so i guess it different for everyone !
