I started Phen on Friday. I almost feel like it isnt working. I didnt get the burst of energy everyone talks about and I feel like I am always hungry. I have cut my calories but I woke up at 2am starving and couldnt go back to sleep till I ate. I had a bowl of cereal and a banana and still work up at 6 hungry. I take the 37.5 plus the dr gave me an afternoon pill. I dont know how long I can do this if I am always hungry. I thought these pills help with the appetite.

I DID GET THE BURST OF ENERGY MY FIRST DAY, AND THEN CRASHED HARD BY LUNCH. BUT I WAS ALSO STILL HUNGRY THOSE FIRST COUPLE OF DAYS. GIVE IT A LITTLE LONGER, AND YOU MAY WANT TO PLAY AROUND WITH THE TIMES YOU TAKE IT TO SEE IF THAT HELPS AS WELL. ALSO I AM READING ALOT ABOUT IF YOU DON'T DRINK ENOUGH WATER WITH THE PILL IT WON'T ACTIVATE RIGHT. SO MAKE SURE YOU ARE DOING THAT TOO. GOOD LUCK. LET US KNOW HOW IT GOES.

I was like that also but now i have been taking multi vit and drinking 80-100 oz a water a day i found that i am not hungry and have energy mayb this will work for you =) let me know how it goes for you best of luck on your weight loss journey.. keep us posted :)

I definitely had more energy in the beginning, but never had that huge burst. I'm still only taking half a tablet, so I know that's partly why. I would definitely suggest experimenting with what time you take you Phen and also make sure you are eating healthy foods that are filling. I shoot for about 1200 cals. a day and 1400 on days that I work out. Eating complex carbs and protein at every meal will help stave off hunger too. Like the others have said, water should help as well. I need to improve in that area myself.

Personally if I ate cereal I would never be able to stick to anything... it always makes me more hungry than before I ate it...I find if I have scrambled eggs in the morning I last through and sometimes beyond lunch time

Someone else mentioned having enough water to make the pill work right. I usally drink half a bottle of water with my pill (on an empty stomach), and then the other half within probably about 30 minutes. If I dont do it this way I feel like you where I get the munchies and dont feel like its working. So try drinking a good amount of water when you take your pill in the am. and then try and get a bottle down for every two hours. And try having a protein based breakfest...it will keep you full longer. 2 eggs or 1/2 cup egg beaters witha turkey sausage is my mainstay, and keeps me full until lunchtime. Hope you find something that works for you...I know it can be frustrating.
