So I started taking Adipex back on 2/14 and about a week later noticed that I was getting these underground really sore pimples. I have NEVER had skin issues ever so this was something totally new for me. Anyone else having this issue?

Well I tried all the usual options..astringent and those acne spot treatments and nothing was working at all. So after some serious internet research I came across the oil cleansin method. At first I thought what most people do..Clean my face with OIL??? I Well I decided my skin couldnt possibly get worse than it already is so after some more researching, I tried it. I am using a mixture of 25% cold pressed organic castor oil with 75% jojoba oil. I just steam my face for a few minutes first (using my veggie steamer lol), then massage about a quarter size amount of the oil blend into my face for a few minutes, 3 more minutes of steam and then I rinse it with washclothes soaked in steamy water. If I am feeling a little dry I just put a few drops of the jojoba oil on my hands and pat it on my face. I am a few days in and my skin is looking so much better!! The pimples are smoothing out and I am not getting any new ones. :D and my skin is so soft. If anyone else is having this problem check it out online and try it. Its like giving yourself a mini facial every night

I have really sensitive skin, and I have since I hit puberty :(

I work in the medical field and I have to wear a face mask most of the time which irritates my skin even worse! Right on my jaw line.

I wash my face with rubbing alcohol, then moisturize with 56,000 iu vitamin E oil! My face has had far less break outs and it seems to even out my skin tones! I have tried everything to help, but nothing is as effective as what Im doing now. I have combination skin so its tricky. I also started taking a skin, hair, and nails multivitamin.

I hope I dont have a skin side effect on Phen.. but so far I havent noticed any skin issues. Im only going on 7 days, so whos to say what will happen in a month.

Isnt it crazy how the oil seems to help. Its just crazy how all the everyday cleansers you buy at target or walgreens all push for being oil free and to dry up pimples. They dont mention that your face is going to overcompensate for all the drying and produce more oil. I am actually considering switching on my makeup and skin care to an organic line I found while I was researching the Oil Cleansing.

Hello, ladies! I remember reading this on my second day of Phen and it stuck in my mind... well, here I am, 1 week later and all of a sudden, overnight, I have 6 huge cystic blemishes on my cheeks! They really are painful, like you both said, but I did a little research and found this article that might help us all. http://www.acneassasin.com/99-common-signs-of-weight-loss-acne/
It does say not to be discouraged, that once our bodies get used to these changes, they should go back to normal. Let me know if your faces have started clearing up!
