there is not a lable on it, it came in a baggy at the office. all it says is "ENERGY **" written on the baggy
Well i dont know what the difference is, i have been taking it when i take the Phen. So i dont know if i would react different or have a different energy level if i didnt take it at all.
Are you taking Phen? When did you start? Did your doctor give you any other pills to take with it?

Hmmm. I wouldn't trust a pill in a baggy with "Energy" written on it.. You need to know what you are putting in your body!

This is what i found,
Pyridoxin :
Pyridoxine is one of the compounds that can be called vitamin B6, along with pyridoxal and pyridoxamine. It differs from pyridoxamine by the substituent at the '4' position. It is often used as 'pyridoxine hydrochloride'. Pyridoxine assists in the balancing of sodium and potassium as well as promoting red blood cell production. It is linked to cardiovascular health by decreasing the formation of homocysteine. Pyridoxine may help balance hormonal changes in women and aid the immune system[citation needed]. Lack of pyridoxine may cause anemia, nerve damage, seizures, skin problems, and sores in the mouth[2].

Cyanocobalamin:
Cyanocobalamin is an especially common vitamer of the vitamin B12 family. It is the most famous vitamer of the family, because it is chemically the most air-stable, and it is the easiest to crystallize and therefore easiest to purify after it is produced by bacterial fermentation. A form of B12 called hydroxocobalamin is produced by bacteria, and then changed to cyanocobalamin in the process of being purified in activated charcoal columns after being separated from the bacterial cultures. Cyanide is naturally present in activated charcoal, and hydroxocobalamin, which has great affinity for cyanide, picks it up and is changed to cyanocobalamin. Thus, the cyanocobalamin form of B12 is the most widespread in the food industry.[1] Cyanocobalamin is usually prescribed for the following reasons: after surgical removal of part, or all of the stomach or intestine to ensure there are adequate levels of vitamin B12 in the bloodstream; to treat pernicious anemia; vitamin B12 deficiency due to low intake from food; thyrotoxicosis, hemorrhage, malignancy, liver or kidney disease. Cyanocobamide is also used to perform the Schilling test to check a person's ability to absorb vitamin B12. [2]

Folic acid:
Folic acid (also known as vitamin B9[1] or folacin) and folate (the naturally occurring form), as well as pteroyl-L-glutamic acid and pteroyl-L-glutamate, are forms of the water-soluble vitamin B9. Folic acid is itself not biologically active, but its biological importance is due to tetrahydrofolate and other derivatives after its conversion to dihydrofolic acid in the liver.[2]

OK! I wish they would have just told me that its a mix a B vitamins! For crying out loud, it says on the darn baggy, "R.X Energy", why would they put that on there? Why not just put Vitamins? I've been taking the womens 1 a day multi vitamin. Is too much B6, B12, and Folic Acid bad for you? Im already feeling problems with this office due to the lack of communication, not telling me that its a mix of B vitamins, and saying "heres some energy pills, take them when you take the Phen". But then again, I really should have asked what all those words I can barley pronounce where... I was too excited about the journey I was setting out on my mind was blank...:D
Everyone, thanks for your concern in this, if it wasnt for you guys second guessing why they were giving me "energy pills" I never would have looked into it further.
I love this blog & the people on it!!!:o:heart::o
