I want to try Phen...but kind of scared

I take blood pressure meds....thyroid meds....and Prempro (hormones). I want to try Phen, but I don't know how it will affect my blood pressure or thyroid.
Any advice? I guess I just want someone to say, "Girl, you just need to try it!" haha

ARE YOU TALKING WITH YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT YOUR CONCERNS? I KNOW THAT MY DOC IS REQUIRING ME TO COME IN MONTHLY TO GET MY BP CHECKED. I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR DR MIGHT THINK SINCE YOU ARE ALREADY TAKING BP MEDS. BUT HE OR SHE MAY JUST WANT TO CHECK YOUR BP MORE OFTEN THEN USUAL. ITS WORTH TALKING WITH THEM ABOUT IT. I HAVE BEEN ON FOR A WEEK NOW AND I HAVEN'T EXPERIENCE ANY OF THE HEART RACING OR BP LIKE SYMPTOMS. AND IN READING THE OTHER POSTS IT SEEMS LIKE MOST PEOPLE ARE GETTING DRY MOUTH, CONSTIPATION, THOSE SORTS OF THINGS. GOOD LUCK, LET US KNOW WHAT YOU DECIDE.

I actually am going to a weight loss clinic where they offer Phen, but I told them I'm gonna hold off on taking it so they put me on a diet. They are aware of the meds I am already taking and seemed to be okay with it. I am suppose to go back in a week...I think I may at least try it. Also, I check my BP daily and it has been good.

When you go to the clinic - I assume you are seen by a physician?

If so, talk to them about your concerns. I also go to a clinic where the dr at is aware of my BP meds and they are ok with it. At my monthly appt, my BP is checked and monitored. Yes, I get the dry mouth but not as severe this time as I did when I first took phen.

If the clinic is aware of your meds and they won't conflict with Phen, give it a try.

Yes, it is a physician at the clinic. The diet is basically 1200-1400 calories a day and 50-70 carbs. They want me to eat at least every 3 hours.
