okay, now here is the strangest side effect I had from phen so far, and its not listed as a side effect. Its most likely that if anyone else has it, they don't realize its a side effect because its not listed.
Last january while on phen, my hands started to act strange, besides getting super cold like most of you have experienced, they also get a "rush" of blood it seems when its warmer or the heat is up, or I am feeling warm in general, even at night time. The only way to make it go away is to cool them down. They turn a little red, look like I am retaining water, and my veins kind of bulge and its noticeable. I wouldn't call it really painful, but very noticeable and it does kind of sting from time to time. Anyone else have anything even SIMILAR to that? I actually found out a technical name for it, please look it up if you experience anything like I have, its called Erythromelalgia and I stopped the phen last february, but the feeling in my hands never went away, summer was hard to get through due to my blood vessels dialating like that. I recently tried phen again and it appeared to trigger the flare ups more then normal so I stopped. My doctor said it IS POSSIBLE for the phen to have caused it. So I really want to know if this has happened to anyone else, or anything even close! Erythromelalgia is the opposite or Raynaulds phenomenon. They are the same kind of illness, peripheral nerve damage. Thats what has me so worried, damage! I belong to another phen board and no one had the same sort of symptoms, not like that. I welcome all hand experiences though lol feel free to post anything that has to do with your hands, even if you haven't seen anyone else mention it before :) could be that lots of us are just thinking it cant be the phen :(
