Has anyone ever done the Master Cleanse that Beyonce did for the movie Dreamgirls I hear you can lose 15 IN 2 weeks..do yall think its true or know of anything quicker oe more sucessfull?

Yea I tried it for three days and I hated it. after the second day I crampped so bad and my BM's where gross and almost slimmy (I know TMI< but I just saying.) I was so hungry and I had a horrible headache. The lemonaid was groos too.

the only way i look at it is fad diets don't work. you loss weight by less cals consumed more cals burned

I'm on day 5 right now... going for 10 days... so far 6 lbs in 5 days
It's not easy.. but's good for teaching yourself restraint and cleaning
the system ... after this I am changing my diet a little and I plan to
do 3 day cleanse every month and the longer one at least once a year.

I've been wanting to do this master clense as well but honestly I dont know if I can handle it....Oola, kudos to you for doing it....that is awesome! Can you post here after your done with the 10 days? I am so curious to see how you did!!

I did it a year ago this past November for the first time. I managed to go 14 days and lost 17lbs. The first 3 days are hard but once you get past that you really start noticing results. The thing I really liked it that I had a ton of energy from day 5 on. I could have kept going but it was close to Thanksgiving so I quit. After Christimas I started back doing the cleanse part time managed to lose a total of 25 lbs. Last April I quit smoking and gained the weight back and then some so here I am doing Phen and I think I might do the cleanse again starting next week.

Yep... around day 5 I started feeling energetic too.... days 2-3 I was close to caving in but I didn't... I may go longer .. I haven't decided.... so far I am on day 7 and down 11 lbs... one thing I did notice.. I changed to molasses from maple syrup which is recommended for diabetics and I am less hungry than when I use the syrup...

yes I have. Back in June I did it for 13 days straight ( no cheating) and lost 11 pounds!
I did not gain it back because I did it to jump start my weight loss. After I lost the weight I went to the gym regulary 6x a week for aout 2 hours. I was taking all sorts of classes that I enjoyed ( zumba,lifting,kick boxing, etc).
anyhow it was the hardest thing I have ever been through. My advice is if you are gonna do it, then do it fully. Dedicate yourself to it and you will be successful. Also u have watch what you eat, & excercise after you are done with the diert otherwise you will gain it ALL back and then some.


How I did it:

morning- salt water flush- 32 ounces warm water & 2 tablespoons sea salt-drink it all in 5 mins
(this will make u use the restroom within 10-15 mins for the next hour)

night- Smooth Move Herbal Laxative Tea ( drink one cup every night)
throughout the day you have to drink only the lemonade, no food at all, noother drinks, good luck
you'll need -organic lemons,cayenne pepper,water,& grade B maple syrup (not sweet at all)

I ended up doing it for the 10 days... and I am slowly adding solids back in... I ended up losing a total of 15 lbs...I'm going to do another one in a couple weeks... I enjoy it!
