OK, so we've all seen the people who lose a significant amount of weight and have upper arm flab. I was wondering if anyone knows of any exercises that can prevent that...
Also, is it possible to lose weight on phen without working out all the time? I work long hours and by the time I get home I'm ready to just wind down. I guess I need to start getting up earlier so I can workout before I go to work...but I'm NOT a morning person AT ALL! lol ...Have any of you lost without exercise??

Hi robin,
i'm not a morning person either but i had to make a sacrifice for excercise, i can't at night , i work all day and come home to 2 screaming kids. (LOL) No , i didnt lose inches without excercise. Thats why i have to excercise. My first month on phen i did'nt excercise at all but i still loss weight and that's what motivated me to excercise then i saw the inches melt away from my upper arms and the only excercise im doing is walking a mile a day on my treadmill before i go to work. Within weeks of excercise my upper arms went from 24 inches to 17 inches , I hated having big mama arms even though i still have some work to do. But more and more i excercise i can totally see the diffrence in inches.
Hope this helps and good luck

I need to start measuring not only pounds but inches as well. I can not wait until I am able to wear those cut little tank tops in the summer, cause no I have these huge arms that look horrible. DO you do anything besides the treadmill?

That is great results for your arms, you make me want to get on my treadmill!! I have not lost anything on my arms yet!! I measure every month and see results everywhere except my arms. I really need to get up early and walk too. I always say I will do it in the evening but like you, after work there is so much going on at home and I'm tired.
Thanks for sharing!!

I measured my upper arms today...they're at 22 inches! OMG! My measurements just depressed me. I need to stay positive! I'm ON the right track now and thats what matters, right??
Does anyone know where I can find average measurements?..not just the normal bust-waist-hips ratio...but also neck, chest, thighs, arms, etc. I've looked on line and can't find what I'm looking for.

Strength training and cardio will tone up your body!! When I started taking phen last year, I was a size 12-14 with a very flabby upper body. I took phen for 3 months and lost about 25 lbs but was my body was still untoned. So I have cranked up the cardio and started lifting weights and I started shrinking!! I weigh 165 now and wear a size 8:D If you are short on time, there are a lot of quick and effective workouts that can whip you up in shape in no time that are free. Check out the websites below. Even though I am not on phen anymore, I still come to this website everyday to learn more and to see how well everybody is doing and to get tips on how not to gain the weight back. Keep up the good work!!! Good luck to everybody on your weightloss adventures!!!:D ILOVE THIS WEBSITE!!!!!

You most defintitely want to exercise still on the Phen. If you just lose the weight then you will have flabby skin everywhere not just your arms. The point is to learn a new lifestyle and workout with it. Right now I just do a Walk at Home video. It is only 35 minutes and then I'm done! I have added weights to it as well to tone a little more. I usually work out at my office right after I get off. The conference room is free and it has a tv and dvd player. I have to do it then cus once I leave that office and get my kiddo it just never seems that I have time. I am doing things with her and then when she goes to bed I like to enjoy the hour or so I have before bed and then it starts all over again! If you don't like the routine and stuff of a video, you might try just jamming out to some music for 30 or 45 minutes around the house. Jump around, groove, and go crazy! It will definitely get your heart rate going!
Hope this helps. We all want to see you succeed as well in your journey!! Good Luck and keep us posted!
