I am on day twelve and go in for a weigh in on Saturday, I lost 5.6lbs my first week. I decided to only do weigh ins at my Drs office, but this week I am really seeing no change.:(
I am taking the pills religiously and am eating salads with protein for every meal, I use no dressing other than lemon and balsamic and drink as much water as I possible can, although it seems like a chore for me since I am never hungry or thirsty. I do not eat any carbs, and have a Walkers Diet shake every morning. Is there anything else I can do to speed up weight loss? I have been slacking on the exercise part, since the severe weather here in the Bay Area is keeping me indoors, but have been using the WiiFit EA Active.

Exactly how many calories are you getting in though? You may not be consuming enough, salads are fairly negligible, so the protein and shake may not be enough. With phen, the water is one of the keys, so you have to get that in, put a slice of lemon in it to see if it makes it more palatable for you.
Best of luck,

Well I must say that the worse thing you can do is get to caught up in the number of pounds you are losing. As long as your scale is going down and not up that is what matters the most. You also have to remember a lot of people get a stall in weight loss but start dropping inches and don't even notice. As long as you stay true to your water, protein and exercise the weight will come off. It may not come off like you would like but it will happen. Hang in there it has only been about 2 weeks for you. Give your body and mind sometime to adjust to your new regimen. Congrats on the weight you have dropped already. I personally think you will be surprised when you go back to your doctor's to be weight and you will see a loss. I have thought the same thing before and had lost -12 pounds. Stay focused and positive.

Don't get discouraged! I only lost 6.1 lbs. my first week, and a total of 12.1 lbs. my first MONTH! The past 2 weeks have been really good- 5.6 lbs. total, but now I seem to be stuck! The scale doesn't want to move down much, but it tries to creep up .3 or .5 or 1.1 lbs./day. But, I am working out just as hard as ever, and keeping myeating clean! I will not give up! I am determined to lose these last pounds. PLUS- I can tell that my body is firming up and the fat is slowly disappearing, so that gives me hope.
So, my best advice is- don't get hung up on the number on the scale, just notice how your clothes are fitting, and KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE PRIZE! :D

Thanks for all the support. I had my weigh in on Sat 1/23 and I lost 4.6lbs. That brings me down to 215lbs and 10.2lbs lost in 2 weeks. I am really content and trying hard to stay on course.
I am drinking 100oz of water a day. And I was more focused on my Carb intake which was about less than 20g a day, but now am focusing on my calories. I think I was consuming about 750-1000 calories a day now I am trying to consume 1000-1200 calories a day. Although it is really hard or me to eat! With all the water I am drinking and the pills I am never hungry and always feel full. I have to put it into my calendar to make sure I eat and I have my sister who is constantly reminding to eat something. I am starting to feel frustrated with eating, I will eat about a third portion of food before I get full and then I am struggling to finish my food because I know I need the calories and nutrition. Any tips on how to get enough calories and not make eating a pain? Also any suggestions on a calorie counter? I like to be super organized and am the type of person who makes tons of lists, and I have researched many calorie journal softwares but cannot decide on one.
I do need to increase my workout sessions, but with school and work it is becoming really hard to find the time, but I am optimistic and look forward to my next weigh in on Sat.
Thanks again!

Jimswife is correct, you are not consuming enough calories. When your body is in the starvation mode or feel deprived it will hold onto fat. Up the protein!
My doc said to have 35grams of protein in the morning. This forces your body to burn fat throughout the day.
Boil eff whites, beef jerky, fat free cottage cheese sprinkled with splenda and cinnamon, sardines, tuna, low carb veggies is what keep me losing.

Hi Smartcookie! I am glad to have come across this post, because I have been looking for a good low carb high protein meal replacement shake, so after reading yours, I just went and looked up the Walkers Diet Shakes, they look great! Have you tried the strawberry, beach or banana flavors?? Where do you buy them? I hope you are continuing to lose! Update us!! :)

Everyone has given such good support!
I agree with the poster that sometimes it seems like you are stalling because the scale is not going down. However, when your body looses 5, 10 pounds in a week it has to adjust to it;s new size. Things move around...not sure how but it happens. My suggestion is to get out a measuring tape and record your body measurements. This way on the weeks you don't see drops on the scale you can measure and see if inches have been lost.
Good luck! It sounds like your on your way!! You doing great and you can do it!
