Help??

My ob put me on a birth control after my baby that caused me to gain 50 lbs in 3 months. I had started off the pregnancy overweight, but during my 9 months I had started eating healthier and exercising for the baby's sake, and I have since kept up the practice of a healthier lifestyle. I didn't go on the bc right after the baby, and I had stayed consistent with the exercise and lost the 20 lbs I gained during pregnancy. Now I am up to 200 lbs (I'm only 5'4), and everything I'm doing isn't even taking off a lb! It's been 5 months and I haven't seen any weight come off. I had my thyroid tested and I've been practicing meditation when I wake up to relieve stress since stress can be a factor. my ob said their practice doesn't perscribe phen anymore because they don't like to bother with follow-ups (...?) so I'm trying to find a doctor in the columbus, ohio area. Does anyone have any advice? Thank you all so much.

Look up Dr. Branch out of Dallas Texas , www.absolutlythin.com. I think he comes to Ohio a few times a year and he will see you 1x and then write u scripts for 1 year, but must see you atleast 1x a year. His # is on his site. Used him for about 6 months via internet , then the FDA got ahold of him and said he could not prescribe via internet unless he saw the patient atleast 1x a yr. He is so very kind and understanding and his staff is also. Give him a call and see if he is still traveling to Ohio. Good Luck

Ive actually just moved from Columbus and i didnt have such luck with finding a doctor there that prescribed Phen. My gyn Dr Portman off Brice Rd near Reynoldsburg/New Albany Rd did prescribe Meridia. Which the Merridia worked great but now I have moved to Tx. Only thing with Merridia you have to closely watch your bp.
