Looking for DR to prescribe in MIAMI florida

Hi there! My primary Dr won't prescribe Phentermine to help with my weight loss because he doesn't "believe in diet pills". I have an appointment with my endocrinologist next week, but I am nervous he will not help with the prescription.... So, I am preparing myself by getting the contact info of a PCP that is more understanding and who will consider prescribing the phentermine....

Anyone in Miami that can suggest a doctor? (not a clinic... WAY too expensive)

Last time I checked my BMi was 36... I weigh 177 and I am 5'7. I have about 45 pounds to lose to be at my pre-pregnancy weight which is my goal....

I would call doctor's offices or ask your family or friends to refer you & just call & ask the office if that is something the primary does. I live in the Tampa Bay area & I work in a hospital so it was pretty easy for me, especially since my primary does it. He would rather gain the income than me going to some outrageous weight loss clinic. More & more PCP's are doing it now because it is obvious how much the doctors are profiting that only do weight loss. Most PCP think it is stupid & that you should just do what you are suppose to do, but if they are making more on it you most likely will get it. I just go once a month to my PCP & my monthly Phentermine is only $29. So much cheaper than trying to buy it online too.

I used a doctor in Avon Park, which is north of Sebring. He allows me to do refills online and gave me his email/IM/phone contact for 24/7 availability. He was reasonably priced as well and didn't require weekly/monthly visits.
