Hello everyone! My name is Johanna I live in Denver CO, i have been looking for a doctor to perscribe phentermine. A little about me, I am 22 years old and I have a 2 year old, since the birth of my son i have found it really hard to get all the weight off plus I gained like 70 pounds during my preganancy. I can not afford to go to a weight loss clinic. I have medical insurance so I would like to use it! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

My experience has been that most insurance plans I've had do not cover Phen or any appointments with a diet doctor.

Have you asked your primary doctor if they would prescribe it for you?
Some people get it thorugh their primary dr and some have dr's who don't believe in using "phen" for weight loss pills and will tell you to just "eat right and exercise". :-(

When I started Phen a few years ago, I had a really good insurance plan but they did not cover "phen" or my visits to the diet doctor. I paid out-of-pocket which can be costly.

I still pay out-of-pocket but I now go to a Clinic for weight loss and it costs me $110 for the visit to check my blood pressure and the 30 day supply of pills.

Whatever you do, don't buy phen from a website. You don't know what you are getting and you will just be throwing $$$ away.

Good luck.

I tried to get phen from my PCP but she refused. I tried multiple Dr.'s and none of them would prescribe anything expect eating right and exercising. I have found a few Dr.'s in the metro area who will prescribe but some are either not accepting new patients or won't accept my insurance, and I can't private pay. And going to a weight-loss clinic is MUCH more expensive than paying privately! I've just given up on my quest for phen and am trying desperately to lose the weight on my own....
