New to the forum and the pill!

Well, I have just started taking the pill, going on a week Saturday. I am on the 37.5 and just had a few questions.. I have been getting that awful taste in my mouth, and i've tried taking my pill with something besides water and ****ing on mints, dont like gum, and as soon is the mint is gone, the taste is back.. what can i do about that?

Also, I was wondering how long you doctor has left you on phen? Until you reached your goal? What goes on there, my doctor didnt tell me exactly, but gave me the X amnt of refills that his pad allowed him (4) so 5 months worth, he didnt say exactly if that would be it.. he said that by then we would see how it was going and that I might need to come off for a little to go back on for it to stay effective.. ? How long have you been on phen, how?:rolleyes:

welcome to the phen forums. i have been a member for almost a month. i do not get the taste in my mouth. others may. i joined the august/sept forum and am keeping track with other members who began at about the same time. they are very helpful and supportive. you should try to join a group just starting (oct) or start one yourself. it is the best way to get support and compare notes, ask questions. good luck on your weight loss journey and let me know if i can ever help with anything.

I just starting taking Phentermine myself & i also get a awful taste in my mouth! Feels like ive had a cotton ball in there! LOL! My doctor auctually put me on the pill for 30days & im also getting B12 injections, she made me schedule a appointment with her next month to do a weigh in and check to see how im doing on the pill. Im currently taking the 30mg/blue capsule. Ive heard the max is 6-8 months to take it...but then again that is hear say!

I too am new to the "phen" journey.. I as well the first two weeks of being on the 37.5 pill had that gawd awful taste in my mouth. I swear I brushed my teeth 5-8 times a day because of it. As far as how long anyone will be on the pill is all up to their DR's. I know mine did not give me any refills, however I have m 1 month check up with her on March 1st and will go from there. I'm down 16lbs in 3 weeks yet have hit a stand still this week. I've up'd my exercise and water in take(how could one not on this pill, it leaves you as parched as the dessert!), but still nothing. So I wonder if my body has become acustome to the pill already. Good luck on you journey! I will be rooting for you from a far!
