Sore throat anyone?

Is sore throat a possible side effect from taking Phen. My sore throats been hurting for about a week now. I just thought I was getting sick from a possible cold since I was sneezing and had a runny nose, but it didn't develop into anythign else really. It's been over a week and my glands are swollen. I stopped taking the phen over the weekend to see if it would subside and it hasn't

Wonder if this is from something else or if it could be from the phen. I have really bad dry throat/mouth from taking the phen and that's actually dissipated since I stopped taking it about 2 days ago.

I have been on phentermine for one week now. I also have experienced a dry/sore throat. I started out taking 37.5 and whiched to taking 1/2 around 5:30 AM and 1/2 around 11:30 AM. I am going to see if this helps. Other than that, I seem to be doing ok. Another side effect that I have experienced is being tired, but I am hoping this gets better. I will be hanging in there!

I definitely get the dry mouth, but sore as in my glands were actually swollen and it hurt really bad to swallow. I went off the phen for about 5 days and it went away, I took a half of the 37.5 pill yesterday morning and it's back. I really don't know if it's the phen or if I'm getting sick because I know there's a bug going around right now especially in the Chicagoland area.

I may have to tinker with going off and on when I'm totally healthy to see if it's the phen or not.

I'm having the same problem as well. Have been on phen 37.5 for a month now (off & on - trying to take a 1-2 day break from it just to relax) and lost 10 lbs so far...yea me...but I've been having such a sore throat and my left side of my throat is what mostly hurts. Also when I swallow it hurts my left ear as well, makes it feel like I have an ear ache. But when I do my 1-2 day phen breaks, the sore throat goes away. When I get back on phen it takes 2-3 days for the sore throat to go away. It's driving me nuts.

Now granted I'm not sticking to a healthy diet at all. In the morning I take it about 8am w/ my coffee. Once it kicks in, I feel the surge of energy and CRAVE coffee for the rest of the day, but I only let myself keep drinking it till about 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM. Then I try to stick to my big huge water jug for the rest of the day. So could the coffee be causing this? B/c I've tried a day or two w/out coffee and I'm worthless when I do have it. I'm having headaches, irritable, stomach growls but food is just repulsing to me, my bowels cramp up, have had light blood in the stool (yesterday was the first day I've experienced that), and just more tired than when do drink loads of coffee till 11 or 12 w/ my phen.

Anyone have any similar experiences, advice, suggestions???? Anyone have advice about how to not let food repulse me so much. I know I need to eat but just having a very hard time trying to eat or even look at food. The smell of all of my co-workers lunches heating up in the microwave from the break room just makes me wanna puke, when before, that was my nose telling me it was lunch time and I was ready to eat.
