Tenuate HCL 75mg CR

Hello,

i was wondering if anyone has or is taking this medication? i started on phentermine on February 20th of this year and as of my visit on October 2nd had lost 50lbs - only problem, didn't lose anything last month. My doctor said that when her patients stop losing she switches to the Tenuate control release 75mg and started me on those on 10/02 - only problem is that i am starving! i feel like i cannot get enough to eat now, grrr. Anyone have any experiences or advice? I sure would appreciate them.

i am happy with the success i had on the phentermine and would be glad to only go down another 10 or 15lbs but i definitely do not want to go back up! since July 08, i have lost 80lbs - the first time since elementary school that i have been at 179lbs! Help - anyone?

Hi- my doctor also switched me to the Tenuate after experiencing some pretty bad side effects on the adipex. I have found that i have gained weight on the tenuate rather than lose it. I am going to call by doctor and tell him that I am willing to put up with the side effects and to switch me back to the adipex (he said he would because I was reluctant to switch).Hope that helps.
