This is my 6th day on Phen and the first day that I have been anxious or irritated. I take prozac so I really didn't think this was going to be an issue, and so far it hasn't. I started out with a headache, which I think is actually caffeine with drawl then I started snapping at my kids.

I know if I drink anything caffeinated this late I will be up all night. I just feel so grouchy.

Oh Skinny I know this weight thing is such a struggle sometimes. Just Hug and kiss your kids and tell them you love them, and maybe just do something just for yorself for a few minutes(read, take a walk etc etc) to distract you from being irritated. I hope you feel better soon . Tomorrow will be here sooner than you know.

I was very irritable the past couple days. I noticed that I get that way when I take the whole pill instead of splitting it. Little things were bothering me in the office. I wanted to let everyone know what they were doing to annoy me so they can stop but I took moments to kind of meditate, take deep breaths and let it go. arrrgggg I'm sure me being so irritated was just as annoying to them as well. (We are a small, very small office) Then this happened on my way home....

The scene in the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes" where Kathy Bates rams her car into the yonger girls car for taking her spot.....well that happened to me 2 days ago at the gas station and I was ready to rip the drivers head off. It set my mood for the evening until I worked off those aggressions at the gym. I felt much better after. I hope to never see her again, lol.

Lets just say, I split my pill today. :)

LOL at the 'Fried Green Tomatoes" incident !! Actually I split the pill yesterday and took it whole today. I don't feel as grouchy today, but I did drink coffee this morning and didn't yesterday. I think I needed caffeine. I have also eaten more today than yesterday. I wasn't hungry at breakfast yesterday so I didn't eat, today I did. I think I just needed food. I drank 2 lite beers last night and that calmed me down a bunch.

Yes, I know what you all mean. I have been on phen for about 3 months now. I am starting to be more aware of my frequent mood swings. Little things will tick me off....and I am probably unpleasant to be around lol. Is there anything I can do to help this? Well of course, besides the meditation and deep breathing (I am a short tempered person anyway).

This is what us phensters call phen rage. My doctor said its the decrease of seratonin that does this to us. Especially around our cycles. He says we limit ourselves of some of the foods that help increase seratonin and thats why we end up so irritable. He said if I feel this way to have a piece of dark chocolate, and if possible sit in the sun for 20 minutes. He also gave me an anti-depressant for around my TOM and bad days.

I know the feeling I have been in a bad mood all day well actually all week and having it out with everyone. My 17 year old said maybe because Monday was my birthday and I turned 42 but I don't think that is the problem. The bad thing is I don't even know the problem just moody for no reason at all. Maybe I need a break from the phen

I was depressed/irratated for the first 7-9 days. After that it went away. Maybe I was mad I couldnt eat as much anymore. j/k Some of the side effects might go away with time. Dry mouth won't so drink your water. lol
