I've struggled with my weight since I can remember. Now I'll be turning 22 in September and this is the first time I actually feel like I can lose the weight and keep it off.

In January I made the decision to end my engagement with my boyfriend of four years. It was the hardest thing I have ever done. I'm an emotional eater,so before my decision, I had stopped caring what I looked like and gave in to comfort food. Then after the break-up I gave in to more comfort food...you get the drift.

A couple months later my family and I went on vacation. When I got the pictures back I could not believe that was me! I had been seeing myself in the mirror, but in the pictures I saw what other people were seeing.

That was my wake up call. I started a strict diet of nothing, but high protein foods. Well, that was working great and I lost 20 pounds…until I got tired of eating bacon, eggs, salad, bacon, eggs, salad, cheese, cheese, eggs, meat, eggs, cheese....HaHa! So I started putting the weight back on- again. I gained it all back and felt like I was meant to be fat forever.

I had almost gave up hope, when my sister-in-law was telling me her cousin had lost 90 lbs by taking Phentermine. Wake up call #2 :o)

I immediately went to the Dr. and got my prescription and I am so happy I did. This has been the easiest and best weight loss experience I've had. I have tons of energy and I'm not constantly hungry. It helps me cut back portions stay on a low calorie diet.

I started Phentermine June 19, 2009 and have a total of 28 pounds. My goal is to lose 50, so I'm a little more than half way there.

This is the picture from vacation that gave me my wake up call:

You look stunning girl.......Ur story is similar to mine....Im a new user to Phen and I start taking mine tomorrow. Seeing every one else results make me SUPER anxious to see my "old" self again!!! Keep up the great work....I have a question what type of meal plan were u on while taking Phen? Im still debating on what I want to do about what foods to eat and not to eat

I watch my calories and fat.
I "try" to not go over 1,200 calories and 24g of fat. Some days I do good and some days I don't. I won't let myself go over 2,000 calories, though.

For breakfast I usually eat a bagel with fat-free cream cheese.
*I'm addicted to these "Berry Bagels" and F-Free Strawberry cream cheese.
I measure out everything! Because what I condsider a "Serving Size" the nutritian facts don't LOL So go by the serving size and then you know you're getting the correct portion.

For lunch I take a Healthy Choice dinner to work and I'll bring an apple and yogurt for snacks if I get hungry.

For dinner I'll have whatever I'm in the mood to cook, but I'll only eat a small portion.

I haven't worked out any because I HATE it!! LOL
But you'll lose weight a lot faster if you do.
My weight has been at a stand still the last couple weeks, so I'm trying to start an excercise program. Wish me luck :o

Best of luck on your weight loss!!
Keep me posted :)

Thank you!!

I never knew how losing weight would make me feel so good. I've tried and tried before, but would lose 20 lbs and gain 30 back. This time is different, I'm doing it not only so I'll look better, but feel better.

I wanted to be at my goal weight of 150 by Halloween, but I haven't worked as hard as I would like to get there. But I will be there before Christmas. It's my gift to myself :o)

Good luck everyone!!

Thank you for posting! Your pictures are very inspirational for me as well. I tend to gain weight all over (including my face). So seeing your "after" picture really helped me want to push forward because you have lost so much extra weight from your face. Amazing! You look wonderful! Keep up the work! :)

I love the face shots, they tell the entire story. You have such a pretty face, great job.

I'll have to post my changes, when I figure out how to do it. I say yuck when I see my starting picture, it is so depressing, but now, it is much better.

With all of that weight gone, all of the guys must be bugging you now!

Those transformations are amazing! Now that all of you guys have my current pictures, I am hoping to have some before/after pictures to show you guys in 4 months from now as well!

My next scheduled doctor visit is Jan. 13th. I'll try to go by the doctor scale there and update my progress.

I love this forum!
