Hi my name is Stacy, I am a stay at home/work at home mom of 3. I have always been over weight, but when I had my children is when the real weight crept in. I would not gain much during pregnancy, then I would give birth lose everything I gained just from having my baby, and then in the next months of sitting at home taking care of a baby and the stress that comes with it, I would gain.....
With each child I went into the next pregnancy weighing as much as I did or more then the end of the previous pregnancy. :o
Finally after I had my 3rd which was a big surprise, he was born sickly and was lots of work for me, I became very depressed with post partum depression and gained all the way back to my weight at the end of the pregnancy + 5 more pounds sitting me at 305!
I started Curves and changed my diet slightly (just not as many snacks) and lost 15 pounds in a few months, It was hard for me though but gave me hope as it was the first time I ever truly saw the scale go down because of something I was doing!
Finally after yo-yo dieting for another year and losing and gaining the same 10 pounds I went to the Dr. the beginning of this year (Feb.) and she mentioned diet pills to me! I said I was all for it! I lost 11 pounds the first month doing nothing but taking the pill.
Then I decided to take advantage of the diet pill and add low carb dieting, which before was soooo hard for me to do with the cravings, but with phentermine I had no want for food ever. It worked! I stuck it out and today I am 235 I am still losing and have a long way to go, I know. But I have now lost from 305 to 235 thats 70 pounds! I am walking almost 3 miles a day because I have tons of energy! I low carb diet with no trouble at all and feel great!!!!
Here are a few before and after pics. I was a tight size 26/28 and am now a 18/20

I dont know what does it best for me the phen or the low carb. They both seem to work then fade out fast. I am going to try in the mornig to do both.
I have been on phen for about 3 weeks and lost 10 pounds, but have not lost anything for several days. I dont drink the water like I should but I will try that also.
So doing both is working for you?

Welcome to the boards! You have done great thus far and I am sure you will continue to do so. I too eat low carb and it helps me a lot since most of my carbs go straight to fat instead of being converted to energy. Good luck on the rest of your journey.

For me yes the phen and the low carb together are the key for me! I cant do one without the other.... Low carb I can hang onto maybe a month before I was doing phen...but the cravings ALWAYS got to me. I would be going through and counting down the days if I can just hold out a month I am sooooo going to have this or that when I get a cheat!
With the phen....I do not care! I can stand in the kitchen and make my kids cookies or a bowl of ice cream....and I dont want it! I have no cravings or hunger when I am taking phen.
I do get a bit of insomnia from it...but I dont mind I am still full of energy. I only take 1 pill a day, and some days I skip a day.
A typical day for me of eating is coffee in the morning with my phen  nothing like double energy LOL! I use half and half in my coffee and to sweeten it I use NuNaturals Stevia, making it low carb. some days I dont even eat a meal till dinner besides my 3 coffee a day habit. If I do have breakfast I have a late breakfast/lunch of scrambled eggs (2-3) with a little cheese in them while cooking. This hold me over till dinner which I usually have chicken of some kind. I buy frozen chicken breast tenders and cook up a huge pan of them to have in the fridge when I need. I make this every 2-3 days.
Some ways I eat my chicken...
Just cut up over a salad with ranch dressing
on a salad with salsa for a taco salad (with no crunch :p)
over a cup of steamed in the Microwave broccoli with a tad bit of alfredo sauce on top.
parmesean cheese and spaghetti sauce over chicken
there are lots of ways to eat chicken....and if I dont feel like chicken...scrambled eggs always works and is quick and easy!
I try to keep my diet down to these few foods to keep it simple for myself...since I dont even care that I am eating this makes it less fuss and worry trying to think of something to make....
Good luck! Hope the combo works well for you!!!!

Be careful with coffee and caffiene products, they make phen go out of our system quicker...so by the end of the day phen wears off. Just a warning.

Congratulations! You look amazing!
I just started the low-carb, low-fat protein diet yesterday. My doctor's office has high protein bars, shakes, soy chips, and meals. I get a lean cuisine and fruit with veggies for dinner. I'm hoping to move to a meal plan like your's after I get a little time into this. You are inspiring!
