Hey there gang.

I have now been on Phen for just over 1 month and have dropped 23 pounds.
Start weight 374 6/2/2009 | weight after 1 month 351 7/2/2009

Thanks to the Phen 37.5mg I have been able to re-learn my relationship with food.
I no longer snack out of emotional need or to try and fill a need for comfort.

I try and stay within a 1200 - 1400 cal a day intake.
I have stopped eating non natural sweets, now I just munch a hand full of berries or an apple when the sweet tooth hits. By the way a small pack of black berries or rasberies is just 70 cals so that helps also.
I drink a ton of water now - 75oz plus

I try to get in either a 45 min walk try to maintain a 2.5mph speed
or
Bike ride for 45 min and try to maintain 9.5 mph or better (on the flat parts of my course)
Every day ( it is hard to do after work since I get home so late, Makes me glad I telecommute 3 out of my 5 days)

I have noticed that since 7/3/2009 I have not lost anything. Is it common to stall like this?
Any suggestions on how to get it rolling again?

Thanks
Michigan Walt

Congratulations on your great loss! You are doing great, yes weight loss stalls are perfectly normal, frustrating but normal. I'd keep doing what you're doing and if you don't see changes in the next couple days, try switching up your exercise routine--that worked for me. You have to do this every so often b/c your muscles get used to the same old routine and the body stops working as hard. By changing it up you create muscle confusion and the body starts burning it up again.

Hi Walt,
I am also from Michigan. You have done a great job! Good for you. Yes I just had a stall for a week and a half or so, finally when I changed up my exercise It dropped 7 #. Congrats on your success so far, it feels great doesn't it!

Congratulations! I love to hear people taking phen and adopting a truly healthy lifestyle.
Maybe you can switch it up a little to keep your body guessing. Maybe try to add some intervals...speed up your walk a little for a minute every few minutes...add a few minutes to a few of your walks..just push yourself a little. You are doing great keep it up!!

Stay away from the scale..try to WI at least once a week. Watching the scale every day can be discouraging sometimes. =)

I personally think one of the best things about this medication is that you do re-learn your relationship with food and that's what stays with you for the long haul. It's such an amazing thing to know that you are stronger than your hunger. The weight loss is a real plus too though ;) Congrats on your amazing job, you're making fantastic progress! As for getting out of the rut, change your exercise and food choices just a bit and you'll see a loss again.

You should be incredibly proud of yourself! What a great first month!
