Dose anybody feel constipated on phen? It seems to me that I have been constipated for the last month I've taken Phen. Also I'd like to say I fell off the wagon last week, it was my husbands birthday the man had 3 birthday partys in one week, and on Thursday we went to Vegas, were i had to much of the buffett ( I was really being a bad girl then) And yesterday for the 4th I think I did pretty good except that I ate watermelon like crazy, it was so good, so wright now I have no idea how much weight I gained.

Yes, I have experienced the same thing the last time I was on PhenD, but I have back on the weight loss journey for 5 days and this time that is not an issue. As far as your trip, I hope you didn't gain much, it can be discouraging when we see more pounds on the scale. Watermelon is good for you, it is mostly water and yes it has sugar, but natural sugars.

Metamucil - It helps keep me regular with out the discomfort. I've never had this issue before until Phen. I notice that it only takes a couple doses to get normal movement.
For me, laxitives are out of the question. They create really uncomfortable and "surprising" movements (for me anyway).

I have been taking Unifiber, three times p/day since Sunday and it hasn't helped me yet. I don't know what to do. It is an insoluble fiber by the way, whereas Metamucil is soluble. Hmm.. I am baffled.

I used the Unifiber and I cook with Benefiber. That didn't make a difference in my BM's. I tried everything natural to get my food moving but Metamucil seems to be the most non-violent regulating thing that works for me & it lowers the bad cholesterol.
You know Random - I didn't know anything about the soluble vs insoluble. I looked it up and here it is:
Functions of Insoluble Fiber:
move bulk through the intestines
control and balance the pH (acidity) in the intestines
Benefits of Insoluble Fiber
promote regular bowel movement and prevent constipation
remove toxic waste through colon in less time
help prevent colon cancer by keeping an optimal pH in intestines to prevent microbes from producing cancerous substances
Food Sources of Insoluble Fiber
Vegetables such as green beans and dark green leafy vegetables
Fruit skins and root vegetable skins
Whole-wheat products
Wheat oat
Corn bran
Seeds & Nuts
Soluble Fiber:
Functions of Soluble Fiber
bind with fatty acids
prolong stomach emptying time so that sugar is released and absorbed more slowly
Benefits of Soluble Fiber
lower total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol (the Bad cholesterol) therefore reducing the risk of heart disease
regulate blood sugar for people with diabetes
Food Sources of Soluble Fiber
Oat/Oat bran
Dried beans and peas
Nuts
Barley
Flax seed
Fruits such as oranges and apples
Vegetables such as carrots
Psyllium husk
I hope that info helps a little. Random - Are you not able to have soluble fiber?
