Doc in Philadelphia/ S. Jersey area

I'm looking for a doctor who will prescribe Phentermine to me. My current doc does not want to do it and has been encouraging the lap band surgery, which I'm extremely hesitant to do:eek::eek:. I have a tremendous amount of weight to loose and would rather try phentermine before even considering going under the knife.
So, if any of you out there know of any docs in the Philly/ S. Jersey area who prescribe the drug to me, I'd be eternally grateful for the information. :D:):o

I am also looking for a doctor to prescribe it to me, and I live in South Jersey/Philly area. I am calling a doctor in stratford, Dr. Gupta to see if he prescribes weight loss medication on my break at work,(i'll let you know how that goes), if not I am going to haveto travel a bit to doctor Joseph Varallo in Pleasantville.. which is about an hour from me but another member on here said he's really good and prescribes it. So I'm definitely willing to make the trip.

I am also looking for a doctor in philadelphia. I tried talking to my primary care doctor and he totally dismisses me and says he will not write a script for anyone. Can anyone help guide me in the ritght direction. thanks

HEY THERE EVERYONE!! I am new to this website and I need alot of help---where can I find a doctor in the south jersey or Philadelphia that will prescribe phent. and has a free consultation and no weird shots. I was in cali and got phent. after an easy doc. visit where they measured your blood pressure, age/weight etc...and then just gave me a script for it!! I need something along those same lines--anyone know of anything like that? and ANY doctors that will prescribe this for you in the S. Jersey/ Philadelphia area?!?? I am willing to travel!!! thanks :) and good luck to all on their goals!

Did he give you a script? I haven't called yet.
